Writing children's books is a most rewarding experience. The joy that comes from knowing, that your story, put a smile on the face of a little one, is heartwarming. The tale being read to them, will impress them and teach them, while they listen to, or read the words, of a children's book. As an author, I feel blessed to be able to touch the lives of children, by the tales I write.

Title: Abba’s Sanctuary (Book One)
By: AKSMC, Shirley JoAnn Taylor
A CBM Christian Book Review
10.0 out of 10.0 Stars
.
A must read children’s book ~ CBM Christian Book Reviews
.

Abba’s Sanctuary (Book One) by Shirley JoAnn Taylor is a delightful children’s book telling an amazing true story of a daycare in the southeast area of Washington DC that received a special gift in the form of a dove from Abba, Father God.
.
With colorful digital imagery and developed for young children from ages 2 to 5-years-old,  the author as founder of Dard’s Parkland Daycare Center, gives the account of Abba’s Sanctuary that became a safe haven for children and Abba’s creatures alike.
.
During one normal day at the program, the director of the daycare (and author of the book) received a special gift in the form of a special dove. This dove became known as “Peace” representing symbolically the Holy Spirit that resides upon and in each one of us. Book One describes how God sent them the dove as a special gift. Peace was unique in the way she interacted with the director and the school. Young children will come alive with wonder and awe learning of God’s creation and of the peaceful way the dove interacted each day at the school. Peace soon became the children’s and director’s favorite school pet.
.
Yet, there were more doves to be added to the story. Come and see what happens. The author relates to readers that the Lord indeed sent a dove to relate to His children His peace, prosperity and love to all.  With scripture verses, the author delights in the sharing of Jesus, His peace and His blessing to her through the dove that came to Abba’s Sanctuary.
.

Christian parents will be able to use this book to teach their children about Abba, Father God, His creation and His love for all of His creatures. Abba’s Sanctuary can also be utilized to teach little ones about the Holy Sprit, the fruit of the Holy Spirit and Jesus’ peace from the Holy Spirit.
.
A highly recommended read that children and parents alike will enjoy!
.
You may get your copy of Abba’s Sanctuary (Book One) at Amazon of in Kindle as a download.

Intertwined lives brings a surprising alliance with God and friends at Alliance Lake.
.
Six teenagers grow up fast as they have to cope with a tragedy that has impacted the entire small town of Alliance, Ohio. Time continues on and so must they. It is time to face the real world. The author offers a reminiscent read that captures past eras, presenting hope, inspiration and encouragement ~ leading others to a renewed life in Jesus, the Son of God.
.
Alliance Lake: Be Still
by Timothy Jay takes readers back to the 70’s and 80’s, an era long gone by. A time of innocence in America and a time of being a teenager in the 80’s, and young adulthood in the 90’s. Filled with humor and the “old days” nostalgia, mentioning out-dated technology (rotary phones, boom boxes, and arcades, this novel makes remembering these things an enthusiastic and fun experience traveling down memory lane.
.
Lovingly dedicated to those on their own journey and to those who relied on their own understanding early in life, only to come to a deep dissatisfaction with the outcome, having walked crooked paths (Psalm 3:5-6), this book challenges teens, (and adults alike) to deepen their walk with God. Ushering an understanding that He is a loving God, and they can move forward after tragic loss. Evil is in the world, but it does not overcome us is one of the themes that play throughout the book.
.
Alliance Lake: Be Still
highlights God in the midst of individuals’ lives and brings them to a place of peace and stillness – slowing down to hear from God.
.
A wonderful Christian Fiction Novel and must read for the 40 and up crowd! 10.0 stars out of 10.0 stars
.

.
Little Bit & Big Byte, Go Green by Craig T. Feigh delights children with colorful illustration and fun learning on how to “Go Green.” The Romie family learns that it’s a good thing to save the environment and recycle.  Going green is great in the month of March too! In March one may wear green for St. Patrick’s Day.  Green is a good color and is their favorite color in “Saving the Environment.” See how all the fun ways one can “Go Green” with the Romie family.
.
In this cute little children’s book, going green means you can recycle all different types of products – mainly three are recycled – paper, plastic & aluminium. One can save energy to help save our planet by going green too. There are many ways to conserve energy and go green as well. Conserving water and using less electricity is a way the Romie family learns to be a part of the going green community which helps our planet and conserves the Earth’s natural resources like: water and electricity. In this way, we can give back in our daily lives. Even using public transportation helps conserve and save our planet. Find out how that works.
.
Intertwining science and education, Craig T. Feigh has created a wonderfully fun and easy way to teach children to conserve energy, save natural resources, recycle and go green for a better environment. In this way, children understand that conservation is necessary not only for those who live now, but for the Earth to be protected for future generations. Children and parents alike will adore the Romie family that live in our everyday modern-lives through our computers and phones.
.
A great educational series for young children!
.
I had my daughter read Craig’s book and here is what she said;
.
“Little Bit & Big Byte, Go Green is very colorful and teaches children what to do to help our environment, it also gives examples of what not to do which is very important. I think it is a very cute book that will teach youngsters how to help the environment in their daily lives as they grow up and that is something that we all should do.”

Hello All,

I am new to The Book Marketing Network and just joined the Children's Book Writer's forum. What various ways do you support one another here and what do you find the most helpful? The publisher is small and humble. They will market some but I have to do much myself. What helpful tips might anyone provide?

My picture book comes out in 2019 after 2 decades of work. Crazy, right? I also write fantasy novels and short stories. My latest needs beta readers and then I'm going to attempt publication. Have any of you used Smashwords?

This book is a fantastic way to tell kids…don’t go surfing if you don’t know how. ~ CBM
.
Little Bit & Big Byte: A Day at the Beach by Craig T. Feigh is a colorfully illustrated children’s book depicting love-able characters and their pets that introduces children metaphorically to computers and the dangers of surfing the Web. Creating word pictures, namely, that the Web is much like a huge ocean, parents can use this book as an aid in educating their children about computers and the Internet.
.
Simple, fun and cute, children will make the connection to the Internet and the main parts of computers with each page. A hidden image of a bone on each page makes the book fun and interactive (secretly my favorite part). With adventure, Little Bit and his crew set out for a day of play at the beach. Little Bit Romie, the main character alongside Click, Browser (the “chip’s” pets) go to the beach with his big brother, Big Byte. Joy, his sister, Kay Board and Webster also join in at the beach to build sandcastles.
.
With little notice, trouble comes through sly characters Vi and Russ, who are looking to crash any party. The author creates a unique and creative “day at the beach” which is saved by a big wave…thankfully. Memorable and inspiring, this little book will help children understand to surf intelligently and with skilled “know how.”
.
Children and parents alike will love the illustrations, giving way for parents to teach their kids about computers. The author has presented an ingenious way to speak the dangers of surfing the Web to young children that they will enjoy.
.
This little book comes highly recommended to all parents when beginning to educate their children about computers, or when school starts children on computers.

The First Seed by David Witman is a colorful and beautifully illustrated children’s book depicting an old oak tree (as modern academia) and a little boy who have an interesting conversation. The little boy is able to look up to this big oak tree and ask, “Where did you come from and how did you get to be so big?” The old oak tree answers cordially, and has the same answer back to the boy every time with the exception of different seeds the tree came from. Question after question, the little boy asks and asks, until he finds out where the original seed came from.

.
With a series of answers, the last question that the little boy asks cannot be answered. Parents can answer for the book to dispel naturalistic views and introduce that the first seed came from a eternal being, namely God, who created the very first seed by intelligent design.
.
Helping children recognize the systematic problem with “conjecture,” this book makes children think. Pointing children to God as the Creator of everything contained in the Universe, the author dispels evolution (and naturalistic views) brought forth by Academia’s as the ultimate and true fact.
.

With wit and a curious little boy, the author teaches children that we didn’t just “magically evolve” from one thing into the next thing as our science books are teaching our children as fact. The author has given children just enough knowledge of plant life and DNA to help them understand God and Science, and that God created all DNA and plants.
.
This is a wonderful story to share with children to make them think about our world, and help them understand that God created all things. Beautifully written.
.
