Writing children's books is a most rewarding experience. The joy that comes from knowing, that your story, put a smile on the face of a little one, is heartwarming. The tale being read to them, will impress them and teach them, while they listen to, or read the words, of a children's book. As an author, I feel blessed to be able to touch the lives of children, by the tales I write.

I have Aileen Stewart, the author of Fern Valley, to thank for introducing me to this site. I'm glad to have found the Children's Book Writers forum and look forward to making contacts with other authors of children's books.

Just dropping Chester the Chesapeake off here - he's a popular middle TN dog who is the star of a children's book series and a Trilogy as well as being a working therapy dog. We also have been as far north as Long Island and to Florida for book (paw) signings and reading events! They are so much fun!
You can meet Chester and also see his books at his website:

Here is more info on The Chester the Chesapeake Trilogy:
Chester the Chesapeake is one heck of a dog. He hasn't written one book but three!
A new single volume edition features all three of Chester's books in the Chester the Chesapeake series. Beginning as a puppy, Chester grows and learns to share, follow rules, and give back to his community as a therapy dog. Other dogs and a cat join the household and the unique personalities of all the dogs shine.
Children love entering Chester's world with real pictures and first person narration. However, this trilogy is so much fun, it's a family affair!
The Chester the Chesapeake Trilogy (The Chester the Chesapeake Series) for a bargain ebook price of $6.99. http://amzn.to/HS0hyp

The Little Robot is curious to see what goes on at the zoo after it closes. He is surprised to learn that the zoo animals are all robots just like him.
A sweet story of curiosity and and self discovery. Perfect for bedtime reading. Humorous and interesting, this book is delightfully told and beautifully illustrated.
