Writing children's books is a most rewarding experience. The joy that comes from knowing, that your story, put a smile on the face of a little one, is heartwarming. The tale being read to them, will impress them and teach them, while they listen to, or read the words, of a children's book. As an author, I feel blessed to be able to touch the lives of children, by the tales I write.

Hi Kim. I'm not self-published is that okay? I would like to send you the PDF version of my book, Are There French Fries in Heaven? Thanks.

Kim, do you mean an article or some type of discussion here on LinkedIn or somewhere else (yahoo)?

Holler, you'd probably enjoy one of my books.  :)

Hello everyone,

I am a yahoo contributing writer and I would like to start a running article of self published books, I am not sure if the editors will allow it, but I will see. If any of you have a pdf copy of your book that you would like me to read and do a write up on, please let me know.

Aileen,

That is awesome, your doing really well in only one year, which from what I understand is not long in the author world, to get up and running. I have been pretty successful at marketing of other people so far, which is what I also do, and am back in college for computer science. Uuuugggg. lol.

Congrats on all your achievements and thank you for the really helpful information.

Thanks Barbara,

I guess I'm doing this as if it is my website, where the more you get out the better. I see what you're saying.

Thanks

Kim, that's a lot.  I find you need contacts for anything in person.  Good luck!

Hi Aileen,

I live in New Hampshire, on the Mass and Vermont lines. I can drive to Vermont, Mass, Conn. RI, and New York within a few hours, so I've sent emails to over 150 libraries within a 3 hour drive (One way) for a book signing.

I'm not sure this is a good way to do it, as I am very new at this. My website email has a function where I can see, real time when the recipient received my email and when they opened it. I'm finding many are simply deleting it without opening it at all. Most likely believing it is spam.

I've posted over 50 ads and posted it to all my social media outlets also.

I only published my book 4 days ago, and have 48 views on it, so, I'll have to see how it goes.

I would love to hear how everyone else does this. I've owned an auction website for 2 years now and this is a entirely different ball game.

Good Luck Everyone
