An amazing new Children's book!

Beautifully rendered with vividly colorful pictures, OUR DAUGHTER IS GETTING MARRIED, is a book written for children. It is about two young women in love and getting married. This much-needed picture book, written in the rhyming form, captures the essence of supportive families and explains the joining of two female partners who begin a voyage of love and togetherness. The rhyming words and colorful pictures unfold to reveal a story of love and harmony enjoyed by all family members. It begins when one of the mothers receives a phone call from her daughter telling of her intentions to get married. The reader is taken on an exciting journey of selecting wedding rings, choosing gowns, sending wedding invitations, deciding on flowers and the wedding cake, decorating the reception hall, and finally joining in the final vows to become partners for life. This is followed by the father-daughter dance and the reception itself. OUR DAUGHTER IS GETTING MARRIED is a much-needed book of support for the real life circumstances of many members of the LGBT community. It brings harmony and common sense and will do much to remove divisiveness. Told with incredible sensitivity, this book will change how some people will view marriage---especially an LGBT marriage. Once read, the book will NOT be forgotten.

I just "discovered" this group - better late than never.  I entered the Pinnacle Achievement Awards with my third book, The Magic Word, and have received awards for all five of the next books (Gimme-Jimmy, Manner-Man, My Fingerpaint Masterpiece, and Mice & Spiders & Webs...Oh My!)...and have submitted my most recent, The Golden Rule, for the Spring 2016 contest. I am very proud of those stickers on my books!!!

This is the thorough interpretation of the fulfilled, and yet to be fulfilled, prophecies of Daniel. Historical events recorded in history confirm that Daniel's prophecies are amazingly true. This book will show, in detail, the events in history as well as the events yet to come, so that the most critical non-believer will see God's hand is at work.

Hello! I've been inventing stories since I was four and writing them since the fifth grade - which seems to be when a lot of writers got motivated. Yay for fifth grade teachers!

I have one middle grade ebook on Amazon with intentions of make it a series. I have a YA nearly completed and will likely make a series from it.

Also, I have a picture book I'm working on using real photos of my boys, and the children of friends and other willing relatives to illustrate it. It got shelved for a period of time, but now with a another granddaughter in the scene, I'm going to rework it and add her into the story. I'm very grateful for all of them being so willing to sign model agreements for this. I may decide to do more of them in the near future.

Looking forward to being an active part of this place!

I believe as a writer of both children's series and adult fiction, I have an awesome responsibility to provide today's youth with a solid foundation and moral base. Due to the worlds' increasing negative influence in our lives, our kids need someone to look up to who shows you can be positive, respectful, portray manners and still have fun.

Whether we are writing for children, or adults, we have the power to invoke positive imagery, giving a healthy escape from the world.

I write with this principle in mind, but that's just me.

What are your thoughts?
