Writing children's books is a most rewarding experience. The joy that comes from knowing, that your story, put a smile on the face of a little one, is heartwarming. The tale being read to them, will impress them and teach them, while they listen to, or read the words, of a children's book. As an author, I feel blessed to be able to touch the lives of children, by the tales I write.

Comment by Sal Corrente on July 15, 2015 at 5:41pm: I believe as a writer of both children's series and adult fiction, I have an awesome responsibility to provide today's youth with a solid foundation and moral base. Due to the worlds' increasing negative influence in our lives, our kids need someone to look up to who shows you can be positive, respectful, portray manners and still have fun.

Whether we are writing for children, or adults, we have the power to invoke positive imagery, giving a healthy escape from the world.

I write with this principle in mind, but that's just me.

I have spent 35 plus years in the medical profession, am full blooded Irish and do write children's books. "I'm Feeling Something " book series for children by Dianne Gallant O'Hogan.
