Fantasy, horror and science fiction writers of The Book Marketing Network. I am  4-LAN and will continue to post my blog on this site. I review works of fiction in the previously mentioned genres. Many are by writers found on this very site.

Search the members and follow their links. There is much talent to be found in our very own backyard.

Ha! I have been a member of The Book Marketing Network for almost two weeks now and I just stumbled across this group this morning. This is what I was looking for!

Up to this point I had been just blindly going through the members' pages, sifting through the myriad and multitudes of writers, trying to single out the authors of fantasy, horror and science fiction.

Now I will be able to find you guys much more quickly!

I posted my latest blog last night, reviewing Tim Flanagan's book, The Moon Stealers Book One The Quest For The Silver Bough. Please check it out. That is, both my blog and Tim's page.

Thanks,

Lance

Hello folks ... some questions on covers for you ...

Book cover advise ...trying to decide what to do with my next book cover, 2nd book in the series, do I go for a new look? do I stay with the same image and fonts and jsut change the colour?

Do readers buy books on the basis of covers (particularly sci-fi and fantasy)?

what do you think?

1st book cover posted here

Science fiction and Fantasy fans,

Check out my epic sci-fi/fantasy, The Beast at the Gate

Read a FREE sample of the novel on amazon.com: http://www.amazon.com/The-Beast-Gate-Rayna-Nightwind-ebook/dp/B00AQ...

Synopsis:

Following a strange storm, college student Rayna Powell finds herself in a dangerous land with mysterious powers she didn't know she had. But is her power great enough to confront the beasts within Nephredom's Gate? Can she save the land of Taren from destruction?

Accompanying Rayna on her reluctant quest is Arstinax—a tall, strong warrior who is as gentle with her as he is fierce in battle. In spite of herself, Rayna falls in love with him, which makes the adventures they share together all the more thrilling...and the stakes couldn't be higher!
