I grew tired of those cookie cutter romance novels. You know the ones - the woman is always af ter the guy, she is like a hawk descending on her pry. She doesn't seem to have any remorse about taking somebody else's love. Well, I don't believe women are like that - I truly feel there are women out there who are flawed, have had bad breaks in life and live day to day hoping and praying for old fashion love. Once at a writers conference I voiced my feelings to the instructor and do you know what he said? "why don't you write old fashion romance novels?" My answer was, "Who, me? I write children's books."

One year later with his help I published The Rich American Woman and its been a joy writing these novels for my fans ever since.
