Something About Me and My Book:
My novels are about real life family situations that have their solutions in faith. Amelia DeLuca's (The Rich American Woman) proud Italian American father who cared more about status that his daughter's happiness led her to the missions of India to find the meaning of her life. There she discovered what it meant to give one's self away for love alone.

Nellie Parker's (Treasures in Clay Vessels) tragic childhood and orphaned teen years left her scarred physically and emotionally. Trusting people was not an option. Her solution? Be recluse so no one bothers you. Only she needed to socialize for business and she couldn't avoid people forever. Then she meets the renowned Henry J. Lewiston, a man she always admired for his knowledge of Biblical artifacts. Will she trust him or go further into herself?

I grew tired of those cookie cutter romance novels. You know the ones - the woman is always af ter the guy, she is like a hawk descending on her pry. She doesn't seem to have any remorse about taking somebody else's love. Well, I don't believe women are like that - I truly feel there are women out there who are flawed, have had bad breaks in life and live day to day hoping and praying for old fashion love. Once at a writers conference I voiced my feelings to the instructor and do you know what he said? "why don't you write old fashion romance novels?" My answer was, "Who, me? I write children's books."

One year later with his help I published The Rich American Woman and its been a joy writing these novels for my fans ever since. The Rich Amercan Woman won the John Gardner Award for best character description of a main character and Treasures in Clay Vessels received a five star rating from ReaderViews.com

Did You Ever Get to Close to the Subject Matter of Your Novel?

I am writing a novel about the effects bi-polar disorder has on the children in the family where one parent has the condition. My main character is a ruthless reporter who hacks at what she believes is the truth no matter who she hurts or how she gets what she wants. Basically, she is masked in the pain of her childhood, living with a mother who is bi-polar and a father who could no longer cope with the situation leaving her to an uncle to be raised. The main character has poignant and…
