Something About Me and My Book:
Writing has been a dream come true. Romance is a genre that comes easy for me since I love everything about love and the first budding feelings that come with it. Everyone wants to experience love in its purity. The first look that brings two souls together in an unspoken message that says this is only the beginning, the brush of hands touching for the first time, and the special first kiss that every romantic remembers.

When I write, I just begin. I get an idea and it just seems to rush out with no rhyme or reason. Sometimes it is on the computer, other times I have a pad of paper and again other times I have little napkins with thoughts, phrases, and descriptions of people, places and things. The plot begins and my characters come to life.

The whole process is fun and I love getting immersed in my fantasy world. The twists and turns are fun as my characters come to life taking me in directions I wouldn't have even thought of. I want to leave my readers feeling good when they are finished reading my stories.

My name is Vickie Treadway, but I write under the name of Tory Lynn. I live in Auburn Washington with my husband where I work a day job. I don't get to write as much as I would like at this time, because real life comes at us in full force, but it is a dream that I will never give up.

The one piece of advice I would give to anyone who has the dream of writing. Is just do it. Never let an opportunity go by to write what inspires you.

My Charming Protector

Mitch wanted to take her in his arms to ease the pain she was feeling. "I could kill those guys for what they've done to you" , Mitch stated calmly, not letting the turmoil he felt show. "Just remember that you haven't died. You still have your whole life ahead of you". He went to her and pulled her into his arms, holding her close. They stood together, him giving her strength and courage to face anything that came her way.

Shawna Thomas grew up in special schools for the gifted. She is a prodigy and a computer extraordinaire. Almost from the start of her employment, she knew that company secrets were being stolen, but didn't have the proof she needed to convince her father and Mitch. Tired of not being taken seriously, she decided to write a security program for the company. The security program meant a lot to her. To her it was her best work yet. The security program does it's job. She suddenly finds herself in the hospital, drawn into a web of dangerous circumstances. With Mitch and her father out of town, she feels alone and scared. When Mitch comes back and finds out about what happened to her, he immediately takes charge. The adventure that takes off from there will keep you reading to the very end as Shawna and Mitch find love while facing dangers of industrial espionage.

Jacey's Christmas Miracle, Never Forgotten

I'm pleased to announce that my latest novel, Jacey's Christmas Miracle, Never Forgotten is available on amazon kindle. Here is a little about my book.

Jacey McMillan grew up with heartbreak and disappointment. Life was hard living with her uncle and cousin as they moved from place to place under the most threatening situations. When she was nine years old, Jacey ended up in the foster system and her uncle and cousin ended up in prison for reasons she never understood, until…

Thanks for accepting the invitation. This board is rather visual and I agree, it has a great deal of potential.
