Thirty years in the future, the U.S. government has turned into a tyranny as the EPA and TSA grow with ever more power.
Brian, the main character, tells his story from first person point of view. His work with the FBI involves mostly cyber terrorism and actual cases of potential real world terrorism. Eventually, his wife gives birth to their third child, who has Down's…

I’m sitting at the computer by the dining room window. In hindsight putting the computer there may have been a mistake. With most of the lawn showing, I keep glancing out to see if I might spot a robin or at least a rabbit. I know it’s too early by the calendar, but I can hope. The dense fog makes it hard to see, but I think the only animals prowling in my yard are not rabbits but cats and the birds not robins but chickens. All this window gazing makes it hard to concentrate on business. The…

1. An ex- girlfriend! Well if you do don’t make a platonic relationship agreement. I did, and I slept alone a lot on this trip. It’s better to leave your options open!
2. A tumble weed! Yep you heard right. I stopped in the New Mexico desert and retrieved a tumble weed that was mindlessly bouncing along in the desert next to the interstate that reminded me of myself at that time. I was later pulled over by a New Mexico State trooper and was asked ,”Son…

Now that the four books by Ricardo B Serrano have been published, Meditation and Qigong Mastery, Return to Oneness with the Tao, Return to Oneness with Spirit through Pan Gu Shen Gong and Keys to Healing and Self-Mastery according to the Hathors, the important questions are, what makes these books different from other related meditation and Qigong books? What will I learn from reading these books?
These four books have the same goal: to offer readers…

I’m heading off to Atlantic City tomorrow to play blackjack and have some serious fun. Of course, I’m bringing my laptop so I can do a little writing while I’m not gambling. There’s nothing like looking at the ocean from twenty stories up for a little inspiration. My next novel, IMAGINATION is coming along nicely.
I’ve decided to release DEGENERATES in Kindle format. Right now, it’s the only noir thriller I have that’s not available. My other noir thrillers are through iuniverse and…

While writing usually comes easily for me, I have to admit, this initial post to my blog has taken a painfully long time. Just as one obsesses over finding the first car and buying the first house, I have obsessed (far too long) over just what to include in this first post. Ultimately, I decided to go with my strength, telling stories.
I have come to this point with…

It is my long held belief that the Eighties were the worst decade ever. Really, puffball skirts (pfffft!), androgynes who sang crappy songs (yes, you, Boy George and Marilyn!), shoulder pads that made you resemble a grid iron player, ozone-depleting hair product, skinny leather ties (I remember my cousin received one as a favour from a girl he partnered in the local deb ball, and a jealous friend upon hearing of this just slavered, 'Yum!'), mullet hair (actually, I live in a town populated…
