For book/ebook authors, publishers, & self-publishers
The end of the year is coming. If you're looking to move some of those books out of your bedroom office, or just want to spread some holiday cheer, donating some books to charities is a wonderful option.
You can also offer them at a discount to charities all year round, by asking your current readers to help cover some of the wholesale costs of the book itself.
Offer additional copies of your book to a local charity at a discounted price.

Sit as little as possible at your book signing. It’s funny that after we go to all this work writing a book, promoting it and then we think a book event is a good time to sit down and rest. You can rest later!
Walk around and talk with people. Stack up your books on a pile on the table so that you can sign the top one comfortably. Then you will save your neck while talking to people one-on-one too!
Smile and offer them something they can’t turn down……
