Hope you'll celebrate with me. The following reviews for
Where The Rain Is Made just recently arrived.
FIVE STARS
First off let me start off my saying . . . I loved Where the Rain is Made! I predict this book to be a best seller. It is so good that words can’t describe it, but I will try. I enjoyed everyone from Cesca to Meko and everyone else in between. I read the electronic version and at three hundred plus pages,…

Greetings dolphin lovers. In this interview you will gain insight into what makes dolphins such supremely great creatures. The main character in my book, Wai-nani-High Chiefess of Hawaii, has an intimate relationship with a dolphin family. This interview is a by product of the extensive reseach into dolphin behavior for my novel.

Host Anna Maria Prezio interviewed Linda Ballou and discussed sea creatures, dolphins and whales in…

Trees give us breath. They generate oxygen and clean our air. They cool our landscape and beautify our world. And yet almost 4 billion trees are cut down every year to be used for making paper goods. Fire and insects ravage millions more.
While we replant many of these trees, I think we can do better. Will you help?
For each ebook purchased from my page on the Cerridwen Press website during September 2008, I will contribute $1.00 to the Arbor Day Foundation.

When people list their fears, one phobia tops even death—public speaking. However, that’s exactly what I do to introduce people to my books. I present writers’ workshops at national and regional conferences. I give talks to readers’ groups and speak to library associations. Some writers, by virtue of their heroine’s vocation, have a built in constituency for their books—knitters, teachers, karate instructors—you get the idea. Since I write historical romance, there’s no gimmick or hook for my…

After being sick the last week or so, I've missed celebrating the UK release of my Edwardian historical, Woodland Daughter!
This is the first book I've written set in the early Edwardian era of England and I thoroughly enjoyed writing it.
Another 'first' for me is writing a book where the heroine is married and a mother at the start of the book, that made a wonderful change for me.
Woodland Daughter is only available in hardback, but it…

The wait is over! Today is the day. PLEASURING THE PIRATE is officially launched!
If you like a little swashbuckling, a little humor, a little sizzle with your romance, I invite you to give my PIRATE a try. Here's what the reviewers are saying:
"Bryan's touches of humor, naughty, bawdy dialogue and colorful description capture the era, adding dimension to this charming tale of a landlocked pirate, the hellion who tames him and their wild adventure. The heat rises as their…

I was floored when Paul Norman of Books Monthly said DISTRACTING THE DUCHESS was "one of those rare books that could turn into a modern classic." Now another reviewer has used the "C" word about my PLEASURING THE PIRATE!
"This great Georgian romance is filled with bawdy humor mindful of Fielding’s classic Tom Jones. The banter between the pirate and the courtesan’s daughter is amusing and heated. The story line is fast-paced and never slows down. Emily Bryan provides a powerful…

Revenge consumes the Soul in Voice of Conscience, July 14, 2008
By Martha Jette - See all my reviews
Thoughts of revenge can infest the brain, tear open the heart and consume the soul. Such is the case for 45-year-old Ramzi Ozcomert in Behcet Kaya's book "Voice of Conscience." Vivid memories and horrid dreams constantly took him back to a night of terror when he was just 14. His father, mother and soon-to-be-wed sister were so full of life one minute and then suddenly and…
