If you want to be in all the online catalogs and bookstores you must get an ISBN. It’s a relatively simple process of filling out a form, paying the fee, and then assigning the title of the book to the ISBN. Sure, I can do that. But here’s the thing. The price in acquiring an ISBN vary widely, as I’ve discovered, just like most things associated with creating the e-book. So far I’ve done only research and spent nothing on this project. Once I’ve gotten everything in order I will give a…

Okay, so I spent some time researching formatters. There also is a big difference in price when it comes to these. Some people charge a flat fee anywhere from $30-$200. There are also people who work hourly at @$25 an hour. Only problem with that is how do you know for real how many hours this person has put in? I know there are computer programs that will convert books automatically in almost no time. The big drawback to these programs is that they don’t often catch every format…

Mark today as the day I set in motion a new venture in my writing career. The production of my e-book. Since most people judge a book by its cover I’ve decided to hire a professional cover designer. I spent some time researching and came up with prices ranging anywhere from $25 to more than a thousand for a custom artist. After much soul-searching and checking my budget I decided to go with a woman who charges $100 flat fee. But for that money I get as many revisions as I want. I…

From the moment we are born, someone is telling us to be careful. No matter what country we call home or what language we speak, these words follow us our entire lives. You might hear parents, friends, family or children lovingly say this phrase at least once a day. Think about all of the times that a loved one goes off to school,…

The greatest of all commandments is Thou Shalt Love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, with all thy mind and all thy strength.
To Love, love is not selfish, love is kind and considerate. Love is pure in heart, love is giving without the requirement of something in return. Love is uncondiditonal, without limitations. Love is forgiveness and renewal.
Jesus manifested these qualities to the extreme. He ALWAYS put the Father first! His welfare from the…

Life's journey offers friendship, love, grief, patience, anger, wisdom, hatred, jealousy, greed, lust, success, failure, pride, lack of self esteem, deceit, and the list goes on and on.
Some people are born blind and display no anger or hatred. Instead they have high self esteem, the ability to play instruments, be great singers, politicians or whatever they set their hearts to do. How are they able to do this? Were there parents truly gifted at instilling self-esteem or has God equipped…

My book, Sacrifices In The Name of Love has been accepted for publication by Red Rose Publishing. It certainly has been a long time coming, and certainly I've had my share of rejections from other publishers and agents. So to say this feels good, is definitely an understatement. I didn't seem real until I went to Red Rose's website, and saw my title listed under the 'Coming Soon' tab. I know, I know, there's no bookcover yet, and not much information listed except a small book blurb, but it is…

Super Hero. The power to surrender your life without restraint, having all the powers of the universe to beckon at a thought, but not calling upon them. Allowing yourself to be nailed to a cross and never saying 'NAILS BE REMOVED FROM MY HANDS, BLOOD STOP YOUR FLOW, WOUNDS HEAL YOURSELF AND GLORIOUS BODY BE REMOVED NOW FROM THIS SITUATION!' Super Hero indeed! Possessing more power than man has ever created, at his very whisper, Jesus power is truly what the power and God is....LOVE!…
