Big E - Connecticut Authors and Publishers Event

Hi folks,

I'll be at the Big E in West Springfield, MA in the Connecticut Building with other CAPA vendors. We'll be signing books, and I will have some T-Shirts and CDs to give away as well.

I've been interviewing and having a lot of fun learning the ropes with promotion.  Thanks for the continued support, and if you are at the Big E, 9/25, 9/26 or 10/2 from the hours of 10 am to 7 pm, please look for me and introduce yourself.

Cheers, K

New Self-Publishing Company To Open in September!

Just an FYI, everybody.  A company got together because they were tired of authors falling through the cracks during this economy - where publishers are really uninterested in 'newcomers' or unwilling to take a chance.

Word is these people were also sick and tired of hearing all these sites say they're free - when, in essence, the fine print is that you have to buy a certain number of books.  All of these companies are in it for themselves :)  This company has hired the best…

Writing the Year 2009 Michael Jackson Legend

Preview of the Official Michael Jackson Opus book on display in London. (PR News photo release)

The Michael Jackson story has arguably been the most compelling of 2009 and more than once has caused me to rearrange my own writing schedule to help clarify various aspects of the iconic entertainer and philanthropist’s legacy. Towards that effort, I have written the following blogs, articles, and poems regarding Jackson with the… Continue

Good Morning from Florida Book News

Call to authors from Florida. I've just posted the latest issue of Florida Book News.

I'm always looking for writers' organizations in Florida that would like to get the word out about what they are doing and what they have to offer.

Also, I enjoy posting information about individual books by Florida authors, and Florida Book News is a great place to post information about book signings, conferences, workshops,… Continue

A Cold Day in Buffalo

As many of you know already, Tim Russert passed away in the early afternoon for Friday, June 13th. He was a passionate follower of all things political, and many people I am sure have spoken with more eloquence on his accumen in that arena. He was honored, revered, and feared by those that sat across the table from him for the past 17 years. He made the arcane workings of the American political system understandable to those of us that around the kitchen table, and held those who held public… Continue
