After being sick the last week or so, I've missed celebrating the UK release of my Edwardian historical, Woodland Daughter!
This is the first book I've written set in the early Edwardian era of England and I thoroughly enjoyed writing it.
Another 'first' for me is writing a book where the heroine is married and a mother at the start of the book, that made a wonderful change for me.
Woodland Daughter is only available in hardback, but it…

Recently I was blessed to meet a new author & friend and she agreed to answer some questions. Her path into the world of EZines intrigued me, as it is yet another opportunity for authors to reach an audience. She is involved in many other areas, including the American Cancer Society and the Kentucky Humane Society. I was touched by her caring attitude and know many will benefit from her today as well! Welcome, Lynn!

Book Review:
Key Lime Squeeze by Ron W. Adams
Author Ron Adams has taken readers into the world of the sleuth with his excellent and crafty new novel, Key Lime Squeeze. Ron is an artful painter with words as he takes the reader into a sinister world that is really not exactly a hard-boiled crime drama and not exactly a story of the mafia, but a fine and adroitly woven tale that is both familiar and unique. It is indeed a book that I found to be riveting and which kept me asking…

As an author, your main focus is most likely on your book. By developing additional income streams related to your book, however, you can increase your total revenue as well as increase your book sales with the publicity created through these income streams.
Using your book as the centerpiece of your platform, consider the following:
* Seek out lucrative public speaking assignments that are often available to published authors
* Create passive streams of revenue by…

I have had such a great response from the Featured Artist section of my eZine that I am considering publishing it weekly instead of bi-monthly. Please let me know if you would like to be considered for the "spotlight" in the eZine. Remember, this is free publicity and my eZine is reaching hundreds of people across the US, Canada and the UK.
To be considered, send me a bio along with your works, appearances, anything you would like to have some publicity for.
You can sign…

Ok, I did it! I took a very deep breath and paid for the postage. I submitted Afterthoughts for consideration in this years Kentucky Book Fair. It's a very big deal. They only select 150 authors so please keep your fingers crossed for me. :)
