If you've read any of my other blog posts, you know that I've
written some reports and books. I am going to self-publish
them on Kindle, and on a website that I will be working on.
One thing, that I have been wanting to tell you for a long
time, is that I've found a great way for authors to sell their
books. I orginally listened to a few free teleseminars, but
the courses were too expensive. I don't have thousands
of dollars to spend…

I have two blogs, and they keep me pretty busy. Since I don't think there's any way to simply drop an RSS feed in here, I'll just direct you to the blogs I do currently keep.
The blog that supports my book,
Waltzing Australia, is at
http://waltzingaustralia.wordpress.com.
My other blog combines culinary history, travel, and recipes related to either the culinary history or the travel tales. It's at…

I really like putting up blogs with blogger and have been experimenting with adding spanish subtitles. I've noticed it gets me up higher in google search. Here's an example, my Civil Rights Books blog -- MOVIMIENTO DE DERECHOS CIVILES LIBROS...
Civil Rights Books

Recently, I followed through with a friend’s request. She wanted me to check her website and blog. Frustrated, she’d asked me if there was anything she could do. Apparently, she’d posted great content but was puzzled when there’d been no traffic. Her fabulous articles sat empty of recorded visitors. She’d wanted an interactive blog. A place to discuss her book with the audience. She was ready to give up, and stop…writing.
Glancing…

Sign of Success?
So, why aren’t you a huge success?
What’s taking so damn long for your “ship” to come in? You’re certainly gifted, hardworking, devoted, smart, and all that. You’re much smarter, and better at what you do than most of the lucky SOBs with a sh _ _pot full of money for displaying half-as _ _ed talent. So, what’s the deal? “Whassup?” Well, perhaps the question does not apply to you. I pose it to stir…

What writer's heart does not beat a little faster, who's chest does not swell that little bit with pride when the receive a review. More so a review stating how much a person has enjoyed their work.
The review might come in many forms. A report on Amazon, an email, a comment on a blog or a kind word during a radio show.
Each in it's own way…

What a glorious day it was going to be! I'd planned my day a week in advance. Another lesson learned: Life can become unexpectedly busy. Yet in somethings, there are no lesson to be learned. Sometimes, you just KNOW a thing. I know to appreciate the beauty; that life has to offer me. With this thought in mind. I smiled enjoying my day of repose. I inhaled the saltiness of the fresh air. It was 7:00am. The earth looked revived, in its morning…

Today on my book radio show "
A BOOK AND A CHAT" my guest did not show. While I'm sure there must be a good reason, I was not as prepared as perhaps I should have been as I did receive confirmation from my guests agent.
So what do you do?
After a brief outline of the guest and her book, hoping that she would…

Do you still comment on other blogs, network, and spend time on chat lines, like you use to?
The idea to network and be sociable will remain strong in my veins. After all, the foundation to ‘promotion’ is establishing relationships. Yet, over the past several months, I’ve noticed I’m dedicating less time to the faucets in my life that use to be my one and only passion.
So the answer is… “no”.
For some reason, I…

"Don't do as I do...," if you're like me, you probably remember the very tone in which this old but effective threat was issued, yet I find myself becoming even more scattered than Mom was at her best. The result is that I have blogs all over the place. The worst is the one on my homepage, whose last blog entry was written in January of the previous year.
This doesn't work too well, and when you fail to update frequently, you run the risk of letting everyone else in on your dirty…
