You are taking a leisurely walk through your neighborhood park and you witness a man who is engaged in a heated fight with his girlfriend and roughly pushes her to the ground. Do you step in and tell him to back off? While watching your young daughter laugh with glee as she flies down the slide by herself for the very first time, you overhear another mother screaming at…

Being a police officer is a tough and dangerous job. I respect and applaud their tireless efforts to keep us safe. I mourn with them when an officer is killed in the line of duty. I thank them for the freedoms we sometimes take for granted in a civilized society. I am so inspired that they enjoyed my book.

Clifford’s story begins in a backyard puppy mill. It is a place where animals are bred and housed in appalling conditions for the sole purpose to make money. These are not breeders or trained animal handlers, these are people who see the opportunity to make money from breeding all types of animals. Some of these animals die, some suffer from…

Have you ever gotten so frustrated with the crime that you see occurring in your neighborhood that you are tempted to take the law into your own hands? It could be small issues like teenagers who repeatedly leave rolls of toilet paper strung through the trees of elderly members in the community or drivers who carelessly throw trash out the window while driving down your…

I wouldnt expect you to know too much about it cause chitown has always been ran by the mob. any and everything can be held and kept secret in chicago. Lord knows they killed our first black Mayor, Harold Washington to place Richard M. Daley in office. But anyway.....
I honestly have to say that my past revolves around the chaos from my mother, I don’t think that I was just targeted for no reason I’m just a…

Book prices slashed
Peter “Pete” Klein, author of the vampire novels, “The Dancing Valkyrie” and “The Vampire Valkyrie,” plus the outdoor guide to trails in the Adirondacks of northern NY, “Adirondack Hikes in Hamilton County,” knows the cost of books during these hard economic times can be a factor for many readers.
In an effort to make his books more affordable, Klein has partnered with Amazon to make all his books lower in cost by making them available for only $9 in the Kindle…

I was lucky enough to be able to attend the International Festival of Authors in Toronto this year, the short drive across the Peace Bridge into Canada being yet another perk of living in Western New York. While there, I attended a roundtable discussion of the psychology of the villain in contemporary fiction. The formal title of the roundtable was “Psycho-babble – Inside the Character’s Twisted Mind.” The panel included such heavyweights in crime and thriller fiction as John Connolly, Jeffery…

The Bill Perring Primer
Probably More Than You Ever Wanted To Know
I live in the county of Surrey, a part of England known as ‘God’s own acre’ – at least by those of us who live here. In fact I’m not sure that God actually knows where Surrey is, which is pretty good since it means we have so far been spared plagues of boils and locusts, and no one in living memory has been turned into a column of salt – though a friend of mine once turned in a sort of column (for a…
