Jack Cole's left hand held a tight grip on the front of the man's shirt. In Cole's right hand was a Glock 45 Automatic, the hammer pulled back.

"You're about as smart as a bag of wet hair," Cole hissed.

"Nobody told me you had a book out," the man answered, his voice quivering slightly.

"You went and bought somebody else's book. Why is that?" Cole asked, his voice still reflecting his anger.

The man winced, fully expecting to hear the hammer drop.

"You weren't around, Jack. How was I supposed to know?"

Cole looked at him for a moment, deciding.

"I don't think I can trust you," Cole said, the look on his face clearly displaying his anger.

"No, really, Jack. Just tell me where to get a copy. I'll do it right away. Really!"

Cole eased the hammer back into it's safety position.

"You can find it on Amazon.com."

"Amazon.com? Really? That sounds easy. I'll get right on it."

"Put in "Verifiable Evidence." It'll send you right to my book page."

"Hey Jack, really. I'm sorry. Nobody told me. Usually I hear stuff like that right off. I would have bought a copy if I had known."

Cole looked at him for a moment.

"You can also go to http://www.booklocker.com/books/2812.html That's my printer."

"Sure, Jack"

"How do I know you'll remember the URL"

"I will Jack, I promise."
