Hi everyone,
I just finished my first (SF) novel: The Last Messiah (though my working title was the The Bodhisattva Strain). This is the novel I always wanted to write. It's about a priest - he looks alike like a Dominican - who was created created to provide a body for the soon-to-be-reincarnated 15th Messiah. The 14th Messiah stipulated before her passing a thousand years before, that she would reappear as her adult self, and set out her plan for how this was to be done. Trouble is, my priest has other plans. Trouble is, the world desperately needs a messiah. Trouble is, the last time Huldra Ven Marsden was alive, she was nothing but trouble. Talk about pressure. I love it. Anyway, it's done, and I'm thinking 2 sequels. It ended up being 250 000 words long and having a glossary and 8 appendices. Now I'm looking for an agent. During November I'll take advantage of NanoWriMo to write the first draft of my next novel, a mainstream. Meantime, I've just started paragliding lessons, and let me tell you, the person who invented the word awesome was definitely a paraglider pilot. See ya.

Hi, my first book Midnight Reflections introduces a society where vampires, werewolves, warlocks, and witches freely roam amongst the ordinary humans. One such human, Tara Daston, only wanted a fun night out dancing with her boyfriend. Getting killed was certainly the last thing she ever expected and waking up three days later as a vampire was the last thing she ever wanted. As Tara struggles with her death and new unlife, she also becomes involved in a hunt for a vicious serial killer. During her own investigation into the killings, she meets Tom Duncan, fellow vampire and lead agent of the Preternatural Investigation Agency, who is not at all amused at what he considers to be her interference. However, the serial killer soon takes notice of Tara and is intrigued, forcing her to work together with Tom and the rest of the agency to stop the murders.

Adventure awaits through "The Portal to Forever". Meet elves, dragons, and the other fantastic beings who dwell in the magic Kingdom of Ashmirl as they battle against the powerful wizard Soldrin and the demons, trolls and other evil creatures who do his bidding. The stakes are high and the survival of the Kingdom hangs in the balance.
"The Portal to Forever" by Bonnie Sullivan Raymond is my first novel to reach publication.

The Birth of Cain....the Main Character in "The Novella Series Red Paradise: First Father".

Sitting in my bathtub six years ago, I decided to slink further into the warm water and while there, stare trance-like at the ceiling until I found my self mumbling in a narrative tone.

At first I wasnt even aware of what I was doing. But what was happening was the birth of a character I would personally grow to know as Cain. Cain the trap being beneath the earth. Buried, forgotten, and alive forever to suffer in darkness and despair.

Imagine for a moment the confined state of being buried in a coffin for thousands of years. No, No...consider it for only a single twenty four hour period. The claustrophia, the thoughts of how much time left. The incompacity to move. The musty hot air. Darkness so deep, rich and overbearing, that it absorbs all sound. You are totally alone.

Then consider that twenty four hour period of time, you know it is over but no one comes to free you. Or are they coming? Is the time really up? And you wait, and wait.

Maybe now. Maybe the time is near now. But it never arrives and that is when your descent into lunacy begins.

That day in the tub, that is what came to me, is what I babbled on about.

What exactly makes Red Paradise: First Father, a great Novella is that I break from tradition as far a vampire, engaging in emotionally charged prespectives on sexual preferences and religious views.

Vampire in Red Paradise, also referred to as "kind" for those were of the original race that were turned, developed the religions of the earth to munipulate men and women, and communicate secrets to their kind on how to survive among humans for eternity.

Be of the world but not in the world. They have always been here. They see but are not seen. Hear but are not heard. They are angels to some, demons to most.

They drink from us, eat us, fuck us, all with indifference. Except a few who have a conscious, they hunt those of us considered hunters, killers, rapist, scum.

Cain is the main character, the first son of the first vampire as the story is told. He is misunderstood by others and lost to himself. Alone, afraid, searching, and hateful. Or is he? Why is he?

He is a vampire seeking revenge

Many have asked what has inspired me to write this novella series "Red Paradise"? I can only answer by saying that this project allows me to "Expose the parallel of the Norms". The current state of mankind has developed a quasi perfect society which has been painted in our minds ....We as desire driven beings chase after this perfection as we live in our own parallel worlds. However, little do we know, the perfection we seek is nothing more than a myth that ultimately causes us pain and heartache within. Delete Comment
