I was honored to discover, I've been nominated for the "Stylish Blog Award". I just started my blog as part of promotion, but it's taken on a life of it's own with posts about writing and highlighting other authors.

Perhaps I'm a mediocre writer, lacking the necessary skills to write a sublime work of fiction. Sorry to unload my troubles. With a BA Honors degree in English is no guarantee that I will be a successful writer, yet still I try. Is there anyone who is making a literary splash and succeeding with their writing? If let me know who you did it.

My first novella "Epiphany of Life" was rejected by over 30 publishers until online publisher 'Jacobyte Books' accepted. However, it died a quick death due to the lack of marketing. Years later I discovered Smash Words and uploaded it to the website free of charge, but this book still isn't selling. Perhaps this book doesn't attract a readship, so I uploaded another book, "The Sinner's Kiss", a literary romance set in the 1890s. Fingers crossed maybe I will find an audience for my work.

You can see the upheavals around the world. You know it is time for someone to appear. Would you be too disappointed if my name wasn't Jesus? Remember, I come as thief...

The time that all religions expect is now unfolding. Unfortunately for religious leaders, their lies are now also exposed by final proof of the truth. I am the Messiah and my name never was Jesus.

Breaking Free of the Norm in Writing

How many times a day do you get an idea for a story and then stop and think the idea is too strange, the plot so out-there, that publishers would quake in their boots if they were to buy it? If you’re a writer, how many times have the rejections said ‘not a saleable story’ to something that is not poorly written, just not mainstream enough? Well, I’m here to say, screw it! Write what you want!

My newest release, PULP is a prime example of a story too noir for most large publisher’s tastes but still packs a punch. It’s the story of Kevin Turner, a struggling newspaper columnist/ thriller writer. He just received a panicked call from his ex-girlfriend Tina, a self-proclaimed clairvoyant prostitute. One of her clients, the mayor’s married son, died in her bed and she needs Kevin’s help to dispose of the body. When Kevin arrives he discovers Tina’s psychotic brother has already chopped up the body and police are now finding pieces spread across the suburbs. His involvement sets off a chain of events more bizarre and horrifying than the plot of one of Kevin’s own novels.

If you like crazy, off-beat, gripping, noir thrillers than PULP is right up your alley. From the first sentence you’ll be brought into a world where the abnormal is the norm, and the unconventional the way of life.

Hope you enjoy PULP. Available at:
