Local papers, blog, facebook, personal invites. But only about 10 people showed. I'm not well-known enough yet :) for more people to show.
I'm not giving up. Book signings on next on my list and a literary festival in april.

Congratulations, JM. Bet you feel good. How did you advertise for people to turn up and for how long? All the best going forward.

Hi everyone

Just had my first book launch last night. Not many people showed up but I did sell a few books.
Next stop, book signings. I think this will work better.
Get myself out there more :)

Launch Pad Publishing was created to solve the problems many authors have with marketing.... check out www.LaunchPadPublishing.com where every author gets a video book trailer and a marketing plan, and the marketing is focused on bulk sales.

Has anyone here given workshops for kids at local libraries as part of your marketing plan? I am just starting out with this and would appreciate any advice. I have four library workshops scheduled.
