My Loss

My Loss

Shards of broken dreams
move through me,
pushed by the winds of loss.
A mosaic of hope,
a kaleidoscope of fallen desire.

The destructive flame of my own deeds
swallowing what may have been.

Rock Stars of Reading video series

Finally!!! Mark has produced more than half of the videos from our six-day holiday to Connecticut and North Hampton -- our November 2008 Rock Stars of Reading road trip. This means we'll begin publishing the video series, one video at-a-time, beginning on March 31; filling up the "off-days" in the Just One More Book!! publishing cycle until all of the videos are available.

To prove this is really happening, here is a promotional video for the series. It's an extract from…

Persistance

I've just finished what I hope is the final edit go-through on Marta's Place. Editor Sandy Light has studied it so many times I'm sure she could relate the entire book verbatim. She's a toughie, but I like that.

Lyrical Press has scheduled Marta's Place for release on April 20.

2008 and (so far) 2009 have been my most productive and rewarding years. I had The Crack in the Teacup, from a defunct press, re-released by Cambridge Books as Music and it became the first in a series of… Continue

Into the Deep

We are now in the depth of the shift. The energies of what was and what is to come are swimming together in a bubbling cauldron. Like a witch's brew, we are going through an alchemical process. This is our perfect storm.

We are not allowed to put off until tomorrow the work of self-transformation. I saw several people this week who are at a critical juncture in their lives. With their life force waning, they may be faced with the decision to live or transition out of this life. For… Continue

Move the world one word a time

Good morning to all my friends here on Book Marketing Network.

Once again, life has moved me to be absent for a shot period from the chair I now occupy. I hope today finds you all well and discovering blessing in your own life.

Last night my wife Gina and I watched the movie, August Rush. For me, this movie was a steel reminder of who I am, and the path laid before since my youth. From my own perspective, I am reflected in the life of the character, August (Evan). My… Continue

By the time I had completed my blogs and done my normal evening stroll around friends blogs etc, I was up to 707,014.

Book trailers or videos only work if they go viral. Well-made videos aren't worth a dime unless they are seen.

Book trailers or videos only work if they go viral. Well-made book videos aren't worth a dime unless they are seen. Why pay hundreds or thousands of dollars to create a video that no one sees.

In Lesson 4 of the Ten Million Eyeballs seminar, I teach you how to create viral videos -- videos that are seen by hundreds of thousands or millions of people. Not 45, not 120, not 346 people, but millions.
