Working on a new project right now, set in my native NH. Gothic kind of thing; actually, more a post-post-Gothic kind of thing. Meanwhile, the California spring inspires; the poppies are about to bloom, and if you haven't been the
California Poppy Reserve in the Antelope Valley, you've never walked in a dream!
Peace.

I am pleased to announce that I recently had an article published through several online directories which details why I incorporate my hometown into the novels that I write. I grew up in St. Louis and call it my home to this day. I am proud that my three books have featured both St. Louis and my passion for golf. It means a lot to me to be able to showcase this
wonderful Midwestern city, as St. Louis has shaped my values and my interest in…

I am sure that, for all of us, there have been instances over which we want to scream at those guys at City Hall. Maybe your house has been zoned out of the school district for which you moved to that neighborhood in the first place. Is the City Council advocating the building of a new
Wal-Mart over the very location where you like…

When I was first diagnosed with colon cancer last November, I was a little embarrassed. This is not a trendy cancer. I can't remember ever hearing about colon-cancer walk-a-thons. I was afraid to ask if there was an 'awareness' ribbon (think what color it might be!) Imagine my relief when I found out it was this lovely blue!
But like all cancers, it's a…

Independent book publisher Faber is one of one of those to watch for new trends and different approaches to publishing. On April 27th, they will release the ebook, ‘What Price Liberty?’ by Ben Wilson, inviting buyers to pay what they deem appropriate, even if that means the download is for free. The book itself deals with the historical attacks on civil liberties in Britain and how we need to carve a different kind of liberty for today’s modern…

I have recently had the above book published by Pudding House Publications, a literary press. I describe the contents of my book as: three episodes of memoir, three brief poems, and a fable of the war that explicates it. My little book both provides an opening to the war and a close to it. I offer a preface and two postscripts, one before the events of 9/11, and one afterwards. Visit my website for it: www.trcatanzarite.com. Thanks!
