I hate that question. I bet if you were to interview as many authors as you could (me included), you would find that one of those authors absolutely HATES interviews. And, if you haven't figured it out by now, I am that author.
Don't get me wrong, it's not that I don't want to get the word out about my latest…

WHAT THE MAYAS HAVE TO SAY…
According to the ancient Mayas, a profound shift of realms is eminent. This shift has to do with the transformation of our own personal lives in order to bring about a change in collective consciousness.
Views worldwide are in tune with this possible shift. This entrainment is what makes this year so prominent for important events to take place. Regardless of what that those events might be, the important element here is, everyone is in accord.…

Meander Scar won last year’s ‘Grace Award’ for women’s fiction and now I know why. This book was nothing short of wonderful. Author Lisa Lickel has crafted an unorthodox romance fraught with complications and intrigue that draws the reader in almost immediately and keeps you guessing right until the very last page.
Ann Ballard is an older woman caught in emotional limbo. Her husband went missing years earlier without a trace. He left behind a thriving business…

Smile author Raina Telgemeier
Everyone loves a perfect smile with great white teeth that sparkle and shine. No child wants to walk around with metal in their mouth, braces and feel like they are wired for sound. I haven't been doing as much writing as I would like lately because I have to attain a qualification to enable me to continue working as a carer. Yes, I am an author, but like most Australian authors can't make a full time living from it. I work part time as a community carer, and my employer is training me in the appropriate qualification. Don't know what you call it in the US, but in Oz it's a Certificate III in Aged & Communitiy Care. Some of the old people whom I assist with…

Well, I got my issue with KDP select solved… kinda. In a panic over the email I received, I quickly unpublished all my books from Smashwords, including my six that are in the premium catalog. I figured the trade-off was worth it considering I sell about five times as many books through Amazon. I also de-selected the automatic renewal for KDP select just in case any heat came down about my books being on Smashwords. Here’s the kicker. I got an email earlier today from KDP informing me that…

5 things about Karen Anna Vogel that can be found in her writing
1.) She’s a real Jane Austen fan and likes to include Jane’s thought in her books. One thing on her bucket list is to go to go on the Jane Austen Tour in England with her friend, Maryann Roberts. For now, they have tea together and watch Pride & Prejudice…over and over and over…

One day my wife and I were driving along our way to her parents’ house to pay them a visit, when suddenly we had a flat tire. The day was early for such an unpleasant reality, but off course we had to stop. The road was empty, and not many people were walking around, as it was early on a weekend. I pulled over to the side of the road and got out all the equipment and the spare tire. As I was busy working on the tire, my wife
stood there beside me for support, not to mention endless…
