I am here !

Shame on me for not taking the time to come to the Book Marketing Network. However, I have been very busy.

With summer being here, my days are spent with grandchildren, though I try and sneak in some writing here and there. I am about to take a mini vacation; going to Ohio for a family reunion, so I am looking forward to that come Friday, August 8th.

Anyway, I want to announce some big news today. I am happy to say that I just published another children's book. This is a… Continue

Help for the blind...

That phrase can be interpreted in lots of ways: help with tools to navigate, help for restoring sight, help with support, help with grants, scholarships—the list is way long. Of course, those of us who are blind need help in various ways in different stages and from varied sources.

But the best help anyone has given me after I lost my sight came from two friends who took me into a Christian church. In the midst of sobs that expressed my misery, I blinked my tears away to see God for… Continue

Clean and Clear

Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.

Psalm 139:23,24

Every night before the boys go to sleep, I spend a few minutes with them. I lay down beside them, ask them about their day, chat a bit and then we pray. Afterwards, the lights go out and out they go as well.
