This is a really cool little gadget that will work on your authors website or blog. A auto scooling Contact Me button. You will love it and the management program's.
Visit Author's In The Press and you will see my Contact Me Button on the right side of the blog. Note as you scroll down that the Contact Me button is always visable. Pretty cool.
Blessings,
Smitty…

I am often asked why did I write HIS NAME FOREVER: The Story Behind the Name of God. Did I want to sell books and make a name for myself? Yes and no.

Do you watch the show? I am going to let you in on a few things here in this post: for one, I do. Usually I get to catch it on the DVR so I skip commercials. My wife and I do not have nearly the number of kids they do; we just have eight, but we share many similarities and I found for once that reading non-fiction is not a chore. Do I agree with everything in this book? No, it isn’t made to be that way. My wife read it also and I think the best thing to come from reading this book is the…

Hey check it out! On Monday @6pm I have a great show coming at you: Joan Meijer my collaborator on the recently released “The Rescue” from The Author’s Lab/Collaboration series, and our good friend Beth Groundwater has rounded up some of her fellow authors from Midnight Ink to form an Author’s Panel for us. I have no idea what element of writing will we be discussing. I just host the show. Listen in as I am certain that we will be able to pull a few pearls of wisdom from these…

“Vivid images… distil the lives of the women who wrote them. They speak to all the stages of life—even celebrate ageing--and our roles as women. These are poems [that] will stay with you forever.” ~ Nancy Famolari
Poets living half a world apart naturally understand the value of e-books, the best way for people living anywhere in the world to access a work.

I don’t know if you can tell from the cover, but this isn’t set in Levittown or Trenton for that matter. The kangaroo should have given it away, and the sun is in the wrong place, thus the “Down Under” part. Sylvia Massara the main author in this installment is an Aussie, and still lives there; so we thought why not lets set it down there. To make it more interesting I brought in a Facebook friend of mine that is also an Australian resident to round things out. If you are looking for action,…

In the digital world, children are growing up surrounded by information and communication technology (ICT). ICT has become the prominent force in their lives. Trestle Press is proud to announce a new series by author Karen Anna Vogel: “The Amish Knitting Circle”. Here is the synopsis:
“Granny Byler is praying for five women in her Old Order Amish community in Smicksburg, PA., but nothing seems to be happening. Spinning wool one day she ponders the fact that fibers wrapped around each other make a yarn that’s hard to break. Maybe the women she sees unraveling need to spun together so they don’t break.
So Granny starts a knitting…
