Another month begins and I hope to make more progress with my sales and with the word count for my current mss. Although my book sales are not meteoric, I have seen the increased figures for August published on Novel Rank (not entirely accurate), which is always good to see, and I have increased my word count to 76000 words. Fear of the unknown may be the reason why some people will not let go of the past, or take action to change a bad habit. It can be a subconscious way of feeling secure because it’s familiar, and a convenient way to avoid risk.
Not knowing how things will turn out can make it difficult to start or finish projects, and achieving personal goals can be obstructed because thoughts of doubt and uncertainty will throw a wet blanket on your motivation.
