Dynomike: Come At Me, Bro by Frankie B. Rabbit

In this adventure, Dynomike the indomitable dinosaur shows his friends, and teaches his readers how to combat a common problem, both for adults and children, bullying.

Instead of a place to have fun, the playground has become scary, a place of fear, terrorized by big Bully Bob Horn.

All the friends want to have fun and play during recess, but instead they are…

Removing the unwanted bits.

October 29th. 2016

I have now more or less broken the back of my first draft. I still have about 10,000 words to go before reaching my initial target of 80,000. When I have finished the re-write, I expect to raise this figure by about ten percent. If I was still under contract to my last publisher, now defunct, I would have been asked to trim the word count by a considerable margin. As an Indie writer, I can do as I please, although I have to remember that more…

Poem: Facing Adversity

One of the many secrets,

for facing Life’s adversity

is a change of perspective;

adjusting the lens, we see

things from a Heavenly view-

whereby old problems are seen

as new opportunities, teeming

brightly, unsullied by routines

of dull, antiquated thinking.

Address all challenges head on,

without any semblance of fear;

employing some spiritual brawn

ensures that final solutions

can be found and implemented;

real…

Poem: Tranquility

Tranquility can’t be obtained

from external sources; ultimate

peace must come from within…

one’s own soul; when trained

by the local Church, ideals

of Truth’s tenets are taught;

they’re meant to elevate our

thinking, whereby what’s real

or true… becomes much clearer.

Life is simplified as false steps

are avoided; self-confidence grows

with Faith’s maturity; when nearer

to Jehovah, our Life is enhanced!

For His peace…

A Patchy Week (Apache?)

October 22nd. 2016

Looking at my diary for the previous seven days, it’s blank. Anyone would think I don’t do anything. I’ve managed to add about two thousand words to my WIP, but have had to interrupt the flow because of hospital appointments, a flu jab, and a trip to Specsavers. We also made a pointless journey to a garden centre to buy something they didn’t stock. We didn’t know that until we arrived. So, stayed there, had lunch and drove home. Sometimes the…
