Author Marilyn A. Hudson tackles a topic that has long afflicted many women in the Christian church. For one of the few times, the apparent limitations of women in the life of the church are examined by a woman. The words of the Apostle are balanced by examing the actions of Jesus Christ. Centuries of assumptions and "copycat" commentary are peeled away to reveal a world of new possibilities. The result may surprise some, anger many, and challenge all… Continue

Hello all. I am proud that I have three books out now and a forth is ready for printing. I have three books in three different genre's. The first is titled 'The Tears of Destiny' and is a war/love novel about the start of World War II.
The second is a murder mystery on a small lake in upstate New York. The third is a wagon train adventure in 1868. The forth is the sequel to the murder mystery. I am holding off sending that to Publish America until I talk to a few agents, or I should say… Continue

Mysterious old homes, shrouded mountains and valleys hidden between misty ridges; the lure of Eastern Woodland Indians and Scots-Irish settlers in colonial American…this is what I know, what I love. But in writing Enemy of the King, I spread beyond my Virginia home base and journeyed into the Carolinas at the height of the Revolution. Enemy of the King is my version of The Patriot with flavors of Daphne Dumaurier’s Rebecca.
Pleasant Grove, the… Continue

I regret to announce that Ingram's computerized telephone stock & sales system no longer works. The message when you call 615-213-6803 sadly says the telephone number is not on the phone system anymore. I confirmed with an Ingram customer service rep who told me the number no longer works. Sales and stock information must be obtained directly from the publisher or from an Ingram representative.
This telephone number was extremely useful over the years to check a book's sales… Continue

Out there was a brilliant weather, sitting comfortably on the bare chest of the beautiful earth. Our mutual friend, the morning, finally took her place in the scheme of things when a bizarre tale, more hellish than the enterprise of a sorcerer, gently rode into my world. Broken and shattered, it led me into a gloomy morning. I vowed to get rid of the cockroaches in my cupboard where they claimed lordship. Confusion greeted my arrival, as the insects dashed here and there to escape my blows. As… Continue

We would love to hear any ideas that you have come up with it. Feel free to comment and let us know your thoughts.

Color in my world will be temporarily sucked away as lines of yellow school buses rumble through country roads and highways to splash the insides of those brick and glass buildings called schools with the paint of my world.
Each year I face the first day of school with more dread than the last. Years ago, back in the dark ages, the dread was for myself as a student. My world now consists of 8 grandchildren who have grown another year older. Surely an entire year has not passed. But,… Continue
