Impressions From Zermatt-Matterhorn in Switzerland(Satis Shroff)
Sunrise at the Gornergrat 3089 m above sea level and a hearty Continental breakfast in the 3100m high Kulmhotel Gornergrat. What a delightful and unforgettable experience with the panorama of the Alps right in front of you. For people who’ve been to the Himalayas, it’s like breakfast at Lukla or Namche Bazaar. Albeit, with the exception that the Swiss do pamper you with the very best from their kitchen and… Continue

Today is my late mother's birthday. The following poem, at the beginning of my novel, 'Half Moon, Full Heart,' is my tribute.
I am often asked how, given my background in engineering (BSEE in another life), I came to write. I respond by blaming/crediting the fact I was born at the right address in a small Texas town: my mother and father lived and loved there. Except for that fact, my life may have been woefully different. My dear mother taught me to read at the age of… Continue
Major book publishers are another option that you should explore when considering publishing your book. In this blue couch interview episode Dale Beaumont is joined with Marty Wilson.
He tells his story and talks about his book which is quite unique and will open your eyes to different publishing options.
While sitting out in our cool back lawn surrounded by daisies, drinking a freshly minted iced tea and reading about Continental’s mistreatment of passengers, it struck me. I could have been on that plane! Talk about lack of customer care! I will NEVER fly Continental again, or any other airlines that does this to customers. Continental should join up with Congress and the private insurance industry. Perfect fit.
I get more writing done when riding on AMTRAK, anyway. I'm flying out to… Continue

I just had to share some wonderful news -- I've signed contracts for three books to be published with Class Act Books. They are, Lost Echoes, a time travel romance, Veracity In Truth, a Regency Romance, and Faith and Fallibility, the sequel to Veracity In Truth.
I couldn't be happier! And, my other writing is going well, with… Continue
Check out Lynnette Bonner's new book from OakTara, Rocky Mountain Oasis--I just put reviews on Amazon, B&N, and CBD. This is an excellent Western Romance novel.

Just posted an incredible video at free blogbook, Who Killed Emmett Till? Very historical, includes interview with Mose Wright, Till's uncle. I hadn't seen this video before and it contains excellent footage of interviews showing the life and times of people living in the Mississippi Delta. This would be a good video for school kids to see since it even goes into the trial phase.
This event represents the first time that… Continue

Just added the seventh post to this blog book. This chapter is set at the time following the First World War when black veterans returning home were feared by whites, believing the returning soldiers would demand new rights. Also covers the Elaine Massacre across the Mississippi River. Klansman and planters from the Delta crossed the river to help kill possibly 1,000 black tenant farmers who were trying to organize and improve their work and living conditions.
You've seen it: Book-marketers and promoters offering "final opportunities" grab a great book promotion for "$1500.00" off the regular price. I've seen these and thought: "Wow, no way I can pass up a deal like that." Right.
Well here's a book promotion opportunity you truly cannot afford to pass up.

Overall Rating: Dull start, but adds up to a terrifying tomorrow
So to all of our knowledge this is the last published book written by Michael Crichton. His last novel was one that was different than all of the rest. With every book he wrote something involving a scifi issue. But this was something that he never attempted before. He wrote about a terrifying future of science if it is not controlled in this book Next.
