Well, just got official word that my first virtual bok tour will begin March 3rd. I'm excited and petrified. I'm stillnot to sure I have everything I need and from what one person is telling me that is assisting in the tour, you kinda can't wing it. I still have to put effort in on getting hosts, questions, excerpts together, the press release, tour schedule, tour page on my blog (not really sure what that is unless it's just a giant calendar that I fill in(?)), and something else I know I'm…

online trading card maker and came up with a trading card fit for a postcard. Let me know what you think of the front. I'm not really pleased with how I had to do the back so will play around with that - but here is the front and back -
The front is pretty cool - the back well I need to play around with it a bit…

I started this week working on my marketing. publicity campaign. My publisher, I love him, told me that hehad started doing a few things but I knew from all the things I.ve read on this writing businessm is that even the big boys require their authors to get involved in publizing thier books. It was just a matter of how nd where.
A friend from a former writing group I belonged to informed me that the group was thinking of doing a local radio station reading for their anthologe they…

I blog for my ministry, Rest Ministries; it's more of a way of having a casual voice with my audience. As the ministry has grown, I've become more of someone in the background-- marketing, writing books, promotions, etc. and so I use my blog to still stay in touch with people.
So I haven't really looked at my statistics. I am not a "hot blogger" and though it would be nice to get some fabulous…

Ungrateful, pitifully so…that’s what I am. Hubby walked in this morning and on my desk, he placed a large vase filled with long-stem roses. (I forgot to ask what color they were.)
"Here, to the beautiful girl in my life. Happy Valentine’s Day." He gave me a kiss.
Sweet, isn’t he? The only thing is that I’ve told him, very gently, I might add, that roses are great, but since I can’t see them, it’s kind of a waste of money.
I hinted, suggested and down right told…

The sun is shining, and what a relief after that dismal day yesterday. It's not even that cold, 30 degrees, practically spring. And I'm going to go out in a few minutes and run all the errands I've been putting off, not wanting to stick my nose out the door when it was so awful. But before I do, I'm going to visit my stop on today's book tour:
http://www.virtualwordsmith.blogspot.com/
It's a followup to that very wonderful review I got earlier in the week.
I'll…

Democrats Have Values Too!
We are watching the first true 21st century election.
It radiates Oprah-style celebrity, electric grass roots energy, and the rise of a new values voter. America is moving from the old masculinized morality of "Alone, I Will," to the new feminized world view of "Together We Can." Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama's success shows the ascension of the New Feminized Majority, a multitude…
