I just finalized a contract with the publisher for my next book about business growth, due out in fall 2009. As with my previous books, the new book will include interviews with those who have achieved success. I am looking for compelling stories about business growth - those who overcame challenges, have a unique story to tell and who have crossed over into a bigger level of business success. If this sounds like you, please
send me an e-mail… Continue

Fiction authors are often asked, “How do you come up with your novel plots? Where do you find those ideas?” As a Canadian suspense author, I am often asked these questions, and my answers will usually include something about letting ideas percolate and ferment.
I know―it sounds like I’m brewing coffee and making homemade wine, but in reality I’m creating what I hope will be a fast-paced suspense novel that will be enjoyed by readers worldwide. I think that percolating a novel plot is…

Looking for a fresh way to pitch your book in September? Sept 8-14 is National Invisible Chronic Illness Awareness Week!
I encourage you to look at your books and see if there may be a slant you could add to it that relates to chronic illness.
If you are booking radio or TV programs right now, you may want to consider using the "chronic illness slant" on your pitch and letting the producers know the date is Sept 8-14, 2008.
