Although my two children are grown now, I will eventually have grandchildren to nurture and encourage. Thank you for your work with our little ones! AND for your efforts abroad. Our family does short term mission work in Central America...matter of fact, our daughter is heading out soon for her fourth trip as Blind Camp Counselor with visually impaired Mayans!

It's my honor and pleasure being invited into your network. I believe we could learn a lot from each other and leverage on each other networks. I might want to write a series of children finance books in the future. Maybe, we could work together. Feel free to drop me a note and talk to me about your possible ideas to turn them into realization. Keep in touch and thanks for the invitation.
Yours Sincerely

Hello Tena,
Great that you are working with the impressionable young children. That age is super important! Also, I've got a doctor friend that travels to Guatemala annually to help children with medical needs. Have fun with your books!
Peace out,
Jim
I think it's a great thing you're doing for the kids. If I can lend my voice to any project...let me know.
I look forward to networking and possibly working together with you someday. Aside from that though, I look forward to getting to know you...my new friend.
hi Tena, SNAP! I've written a children's book too, about a magical journey through the chakras:

Any book that encourages dialogue b/w adults and kids is invaluable in my opinion :-)

Thank you for the invitation. I also write children's books focusing on exploring different cultures in the hopes that knowledge is the key to understanding and harmony between peoples.
My children's educational web site is also based the same premise bringing alive history, ecology & endangered species awareness. My site is not a typical children's educational site If you'd like to see what I mean at you can access it at http://www.cptbootsiesmagictimemachine.com/
Hi Tena,
Your work is very dear to my heart as I have two grandsons. The older one is two and his younger brother is 9 mo. They love for me to read to them so we will check out your books.
blessings,
Annie
Nice to meet you, Tina. Children's publishing! A great thing to be doing! Also, glad to see you're an adept fundraiser. That will make you publishing business all the more successful.
Very best,

Thanks for inviting me. As a matter of fact, I am currently working on childrens' books myself. I an re-writing a Young Adult called "For Love of Teddy" which concerns two brothers caught up in teenage drug dealing. In the end, the older brother, Michael, saves his younger brother, Teddy, while almost losing his own life.
I am also working on a mystery/suspense for two diufferent age groups. This came about when I looked through some old "stuff" I had submitted while taking a writing course and the item just caught my fancy for children.
One thing I would really like to know is something about Picture Books. I have read varying descriptions of picture books, I have bought Jamie Lee Curtis' picture books, and there seems to be a log of discrepancy about the length of picture books (number of words, etc.) Anything you can add to clarify this would be appreciated.
