I am a writer with a message. Two of my books are published. How To Play Chess Like An Animal has the message that chess can be fun, that learning can be fun, and that chess is not just for "nerds." Ainsworth (www.antheacarson.webs.com) has the message that childhood was once very different. I feel sorry for kids today who grow up on video games. For me it was just the endless fields of Nebraska, and all us kids, and the horses we rode, and the empty farmhouse down the road that we explored. We used our imaginations.

Hello everyone,

I hope and pray that everyone is doing well and having the opportunity to enjoy this beautiful spring. I'm writing you as a group because I wanted to ask you, if you would please share my web site with others who may benefit from my past experiences. I have had multiple sclerosis (MS) for more than 29 years and I have written the book Life Interrupted, It's Not All About Me, which is my self-help memoir written for the sole purpose of helping others, their friends and family deal more positively with the stresses put on a relationship when life is interrupted by chronic illness or disability. If just one relationship is saved or benefited it will have been well worth my literally having made my life an open book. If you have the opportunity please visit my web site and/or share it with those who may benefit. Thank you all so very much.

My web site: www.Lifeinterrupted-nolonger.com

God bless,
Chris

Hello everyone,
What a great place the Book Marketing Network is, and I'm looking forward to creating ideas with you all.

I have written a published book "Silence in the Sound" http//www.silenceinthesound.com and have almost completed the sequel. I have a manuscript of Miracles for the Asking that I will be looking into having published. If anyone is interested in reading and writing a review for the manuscript, let me know. I'm including an introduction.

A girl grows up in rural Georgia– suffering with ignorant traditions, narrow-minded stigmas and rigid religious doctrines – finds herself at age five, subjected to sexual molestation from a family member. Every day her only thoughts were to elude the tormenter with the valor of a determined child, by devising survival tactics. Tactics only she could control, by hiding and escaping within her mind. Surrounded with illiterate demeaning influences, fear was projected into her emotions, mind and spirit. This behavior created abnormal patterns within her reasoning capacities, resulting in a warped sense of self-esteem with an apathetic nature.
“Miracles for the Asking” represents lessons taught through events that occurred to my family and me, for I was that Georgia girl. Every chapter reveals the transformation from each obvious catastrophe to a celebrated conclusion, resulting in the healing between past and present. With God’s powerful love, the mental binding shroud, that controlled all previous decisions, was removed and life became more victorious, as God revealed how to love oneself with a reason for existence.
“Miracles for the Asking” will be as inspiring to the reader, as it is true to the writer. The collection of stories is condensed and precise, so the miracles are seen for what they are – a Divine Revelation from God woven in normal everyday occurrences.

In 2005 I had the honor of interviewing Richard Bach, the creator of "Jonathan Livingston Seagull." His latest book, "Curious Lives," is a main source of encouragement for me as a writer. His portrayal of the fiery inner critic as a dragon was brilliantly written and I asked him if he knew this dragon personally. He was in a candid mood and told me that he did. If you would like to soak up his encouragement, wisdom and charm, go to www.cathleenhulbert.com and following the link to "more writing." This month, as I prepare to celebrate another birthday, my heart is so full of gratitude that I am writing and that I am nurtured and supported along the path. Equally wonderful is the joy of sharing the journey with those who are finding their natural gifts as artists, photographers, parents, friends, musicians, writers, comforters and the list goes on. Here's to joy, laughter and that most magnificent transformative accomplishment: self-love! Now that I've found it, I will never let it go.
With love,
Cathleen Hulbert/author

Just want to share the good news: I've got 18 blogs scheduled for virtual blog tours. Both e-books (Family Folktales: What Are Yours? & Spanish Cuisine One Region at a Time: Catalonia) are getting great reviews! A few radio interviews have also been set up...
Very nice start!

Hi, everyone. I was recently interviewed at Bestselfpublished.com. It was a lot of fun. My book, "The First Lamp," has a time-travel element, a strong conservation theme and an emphasis on the power of choice. To sum it up I would say: Take one volcanic New Yorker named Sarah, introduce her to a very wise young kahuna named Kalah, and you have a story of redemption and faith restored. The lasting lesson I have learned is this: When a big story finds you, take excellent notes. For more information: www.cathleenhulbert.com. The book is available on amazon.com.
