For book/ebook authors, publishers, & self-publishers
I know that jealousy is a wasted emotion that gets you nowhere in life---but man I am jealous of J.K. Rowling right now!
I don't know about where you live, but in the Detroit area there were numerous parties for the release of the final Harry Potter book and "read-ins" for readers, complete with costume contests and decorations. It's great that kids (and some adults) are actually reading a BOOK these days---but I just don't get it. I could never make it through the first Harry Potter…

In San Francisco Chronicle July 23 2007 an article on growing trend:
Authors lecture in companies and sell books
http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?f=/c/a/2007/07/23/DDG3GR3PHE1.DTL
Since the fall of 2005, Google has joined several large West Coast companies such as Microsoft, Starbucks and Yahoo in hosting authors for weekly, sometimes daily, book-selling events that were…

In our world today it seems that not much remains the same and in most cases change is looked upon as a good thing by folks. For the most part I agree, who would want to live in a boring world where there was never any change?
Change however, is not always pleasant, nor welcome, even though sometimes unavoidable.…

I feel truly blessed to be a part of a book where the story is so powerful, it brings me to tears each time I read it. I worked my tail off this past week or so finishing up the book, getting it printed and so forth so that it could be shopped in Beijing, China at the international book fair.
And, I have started a new blog which are commonly known as "Hubs" on this site. So, I have been trying…

Hypnosis has been given many definitions over the years, and many authors have debated whether it even exists. These debates and definitions themselves are evidence of what I consider to be the

Several years ago I began writing Sacred Visitations, not because I wanted to write a book, but because I couldn't hoard the wealth any longer. Profound, life-changing and life-instructing experiences had come my way, and how many others knew about it? A few. I'd learned so much about how to mine these extraordinary moments so…

It seems that there is always something going on any given day about our president and his latest failures. Lately it seems that his advisers and other people on his team have educated him on the ways that the constitution works. A couple of weeks ago it was evoking executive privilege and now it is transferring of powers. Here are the details.…

A few days ago an individual I've known for many years had the opportunity to preview my book Operation Military Family: How to Fight to Preserve the Military Family; instead of keying into the family stories of how these families worked through various issues, she chose to take issue with how I promote the need for a strong military in order to preserve a strong nation...and that the only way we can continue to keep a strong military is by preserving military marriages and the military…

"Something beautiful, something good.
All my confusion He understood.
All I had to offer Him was brokenness and strife.
But He made something beautiful of my life."
This hymn, which I hadn't heard or sung it for years, has been popping in my mind for over a week now. I could not remember all the words;…
