It's as Plain as the Nose on Your Face

IT'S AS PLAIN AS THE NOSE ON YOUR FACE

There has been a lot of chatter going around discussing our President’s religious beliefs.  After living for sixty one years I know the media can put a terrible spin on just about anything, so I’m going to try to make sense out of the chatter when I compare all the statements to the Word of God.…

The Woman in the Corner

Thank you for having me on your blog today. I really appreciate it.

So here's my bookmark, and I'm drinking a mug of tea!

He Shall Be Born of a Virgin, His Name Jesus

HE SHALL BE BORN OF A VIRGIN,  HIS NAME JESUS

What love is this, Creator of the universe born in a horse’s stall.  Whose mission was to restore man’s fallen nature from the first Adam’s fall.

A child whose birth was marked in the Heavens with the light of a brilliant star.  The child prophesied of thousand of years before, now being searched for by wiseman from afar.

Who could ever believe a King being sent to…

As real as it gets

I recently read an article about a company that would give your book a review for a price. They claim that the reviews aren’t biased and the reviewer will be honest if they didn’t like the book. Now, I know hundreds if not thousands of these companies exist so I’m no dummy, but it seems to me that it would be bad business to give an author a bad paid review especially if the author has several books under his belt and may use the service again. This leads me to the conclusion that investing…

Carey Jane Clark Discusses The Age Old Advice: "Write What You Know"

Write what you know.

It’s conventional fiction-writing advice. As a result, readers have asked me about the events that motivated the storyline in After the Snow Falls. I’ve been asked if I’ve gone through the experience that Celia faces: a child suffering from a serious illness. One…

Me and You

ME AND YOU

Praise you Father God, to you Lord be the Glory and Honor.  This is the foundation to life, these are the building blocks on the journey of life that will Bless you in ways you could never imagine. Praising your God.

God created us to be instruments of Praise, but in the darkness of this world we found our comforts in earthly things rather then Godly things.  We chose to fulfill selfish desires and maybe not intentually, ignored the God who created…

Ten Equals One By Mark Miller

See, that’s a misleading way to start. There are actually eleven of us and twelve stories. I’m talking about a group I fondly refer to as the Authors of One and our series, simply called One. The Authors of One consist of ten authors, plus me. Ten equals one. I think we have the math straight now.
In the synopsis, I call it “a spiritual anthology examining True-Life experiences of Authors and their Faith. As the series evolves expect…
