“A Song of My Sons”
The following passage displays an essay that I’ve recently viewed. My son, ‘Gregory S. Boulware’ wrote this piece March 23, 1997. It’s an essay assignment from one of his English courses. It so moved me that I was inspired to put it to the post and share it with you.
Enjoy……

God So loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have everlasting life. Freely given, just open your hearts to receive. Jesus has said that no one or no thing can pluck you out of his Father’s hands, the ones the Father has given him. Sealed for eternity, destined to reign with Jesus for all of eternity. A birth right? Chosen from the place of Alpha picked by God to live to Omega. Your Savior Jesus…

Christmas, The Reason For The Season
What a beautiful sight as the snow falls on all the brightly lighted homes, people rushing from store to store looking for that perfect gift that will bring joy to their loved one. The bell ringers collecting for the less fortunate and you witness a amazing thing, that almost every person stops and places money in the kettle. Generally everyone you pass says how are you today and have a great day. There is a…

When Beverly was a child she hated to read. Even though her eighth-grade teacher sent her poem “Stars” to a high school anthology and it was published in Young America Sings she hated to write. Four years old, twenty years old, sixty three years old or ninety one years old. Firefighter, Doctor, Lawyer, Homemaker, Politician, Judge, drug addict, homosexual, Naval officer, Truck Driver and Football star. The blind and the deaf, crippled and the faint of heart, the lonely and foresaken. Helpless and empty, without a friend and needing a place to lay your head down at night, someone willing to give you your next meal. A brave soldier shaking with the inner fear that death gives us all,…

CREATE IN ME LORD….A SERVANT’S HEART
Please I pray you Mighty Father remove the scales from my eyes.
Let me absorb every word I read in your book and Holy Spirit open my heart to receive.
May the words of my mouth reflect a kind and compassionate spirit.
Help me Lord to be a doer of your word and not merely a sayer.
Direct my thoughts each day on how to bring you…

HE SHALL BE BORN OF A VIRGIN, HIS NAME JESUS
What love is this, Creator of the universe born in a horse’s stall. Whose mission was to restore man’s fallen nature from the first Adam’s fall.
A child whose birth was marked in the Heavens with the light of a brilliant star. The child prophesied of thousand of years before, now being searched for by wiseman from afar.
Who could ever believe a King being sent to…

You have no doubt heard your friends discussing or perhaps you read one of the many reviews and blog posts about the erotic novel Fifty Shades of Grey. Well I am here to tell you that “Dandelion Man – the four loves” is the antithesis of that sordid tale.
Walt Kreucher’s first novel titled “Dandelion Man – the four loves” is a fictional memoire dealing with the difficult decisions that crop up in relationships.
Precious few individuals will marry their high…

I just put together a Facebook fan page for Author Neil D. Ostroff. http://www.facebook.com/#!/pages/Facebook-Page-of-Author-Neil-D-Ostroff/124794694205967?sk=info
I sent out a bunch of notices through social marketing and guess what? I already have almost 2,000 likes. The internet is just amazing! Anyway, I’ve got everything in place for my winter marketing blitz. I’ve got…

It’s done! I’ve just put money into promotion. A pretty good chunk, actually. I’m starting with Kindle Nation Daily site. I’ve done some research and heard a lot of positive things about this site and what it can do for your sales. They even have a statistics page that shows you all the books whose ranking went down after placing ads. I signed up for two campaigns. One, the bigger one, won’t start until March, which is fine because hopefully there’ll be many more Kindle owners by then. The…

My brother sent me an article the other day that inspired me beyond belief. I’ll attach it at the end of this post. Basically, it’s the story of a self-published success. I know, I know, I’ve read a thousand of them, also. But this one struck me different, mainly because this author did everything I have done to market and promote with one exception. She used the pay promotion on her sites and I have not. See, I’ve been mistakenly foolish with my numbers. I was putting book sales in…
