Drop by and hear both authors read from and talk about their latest novels. Speaking of radio shows, I just had the opportunity to sit in the other chair, and was interviewed by David Ewan at…

Tell us what makes you proud to be a writer from your City, State or Country?

When planning my novels I live on ‘Cloud Nine’ and give a lot of thought to my characters. (Of course, although, a lot of hard work lies ahead this part is nothing but fun.)
My new hero, Justin, is intrusive. He won't go away. He is so demanding that when thinking of him I nearly burned the spaghetti sauce.
Justin’s partner to be is taking shape in my mind - both her characteristics and physical appearance.
Oh dear, amongst other things, Justin wants me to go on…

Queen Anne – Part 2
Princess Anne’s mother died and her father, James, Duke of York, had taken the unpopular step of becoming a Roman Catholic. Her uncle, the childless King Charles II, knew politics demanded his heirs, Anne and her elder sister, Mary, be raised in the Protestant faith. He appointed Lady Frances Villiers, a committed Anglican, as their governess and leased Richmond palace to Frances and her husband.
The princesses benefited from country air and were…

Want to read something new and exciting?
Believe me, urban thriller is a genre of fiction that is about to get popular.
Do you remember S.E.Hinton's Outsiders?
That book/film was in the late 70's. You will be hard pressed to find a book similar to Outsiders.
Later on this year, Mel Gibson will be staring in Under and Alone, the true story of a A.T.F infiltration of the Mongrels, a American outlaw biker's gang. This film is bound to get the public's…

Most people who know me also know how much I enjoy reading mysteries (and now writing them). I have several "favorite" authors in the mystery/suspense/detective genre, and one is William Bernhardt. I've had the honor of meeting Bill at several writing functions since he is a fellow Oklahoman, and he's not only a good writer, but he was nice enough to allow me to interview him.
I have the information in hand and am in the process of writing the interview. My way isn't necessarily the…

By Sherryle Kiser Jackson, author of Soon and Very Soon
Someone estimated that everybody gets about 15 minutes of fame. It would suggest that the recognition we receive as writers for our works will ultimately subside to make way for someone else’s time. When does our 15 minutes begin? Is it when you have crystallized a theme or idea in your mind and proudly announce to friends and loved ones, “I am writing a book?” Is it the minute you learn to juggle the creative and business side…
