During the two day event I had the pleasure of meeting many fans of sci fi and fellow authors. Sales of my 2012…

The Biggest Case Scenario to the continuation of “The Lives of Abused and Battered Women”
Men have gotten by with abusing women for centuries. When the first man got by with it I feel that it gave the other men the nerve to abuse their women also. If the men had been judged, or condemned for their actions this would never have lasted this long. At the first sign of abuse, if we women would have stood up for our rights, or did…

I cringe when someone says they are seeking ‘financial security’ because I know they are coming from an ego illusion! Security doesn’t come from how much money we have or don’t have. Security doesn’t come from having what we think we have to have…before we can be happy or ‘secure.’ Security doesn’t come from the acceptance and approval of any other human being in this world. Security doesn’t come from obtaining a long list of goals. There is only one security in this world and we are only…

You’ve caught the fever to write a book. Great! Or at least you have set yourself the goal and you have a vision—clear or a bit fuzzy—of what your book could be. I'm so pleased that 'A Study in Red - The Secret Journal of Jack the Ripper' was recently selected as the book of the month by a readers Book Club some thirty miles from my home. I didn't know anything about it until I was told by one of the members who I happened to meet socially. Consequently each of the Book Club members had to buy a copy, and it was then read and discussed by the membership. I'm pleased to say that they appear to have…

A portion of Chapter Two from my Novel "My Mind's Telling Me No"
Below is a portion of chapter two from my novel
Forgoing the last message I decided to go upstairs and climb into the tub to relax. When I walked into my bedroom I immediately flung my heels across the room. Those shoes were making my feet cry out for mercy. I then got undressed and placed my blouse and skirt in the hamper and headed to my master bath to turn on my water.
I began to…
