HOT LOVING

HOT LOVING

Heat me Up...

Dear Wizthom,

Things always heat up when you're around. All I have to do is see your handsome face, and my heart throbs. And when I think of all of the incredible things we can do together fire sizzles through my body and I become hot and steamy, wanting only to throw you upon the bed and bury your manhood deep inside of me. And when we make love , I'm consumed with the fire that only you can put out, delighted in rapture's flames… Continue

The cost of spaying / neutering

I recently adopted a kitten from a cat shelter.

When she was old enough I decided to have her spayed.

I could have gone to the shelter clinic, but the nearest shelter clinic is 30 miles away, and because I don't have a car and rely on public transportation, I thought it best to take a cab to a private veterinarian.

From what I had heard spaying a cat would cost me between $45 - $80.

Imagine my surprise when, after the operation, I was presented with a bill of… Continue

Getting Your Book Reviewed

Kind words about your work can be placed on the back or front cover, or inside the book. Usually reviews are punctuated within quotes.

Pre-publication reviewers can be found by searching Google or links found on my website and in Links for the Independent Writer. Since there are time constraints, a fee is often, but not always, charged. Different reviewers ask for… Continue

Free read - Insubordination

This is a free short story set around the middle of 'Captain's Surrender'. Unlike the book, it's a foray into erotica without a great deal of plot, because you can't fit a lot of plot into 2,000 words :)

For the sake of their lives and careers, Josh and Peter agreed to put their need for one another behind them. But then a luxurious and sensual dinner together becomes foreplay, leading Josh to an act of insubordination that Captain Peter Kenyon will never forget.…

Bubblewrap Bonus

There are overlooked benefits to being in the book business. Bubblewrap, often on hand for packing up books for shipping, has other bonuses.

Bubblewrap bonus #1- Stress Relief

Carefully place bubblewrap on a hard surface. Tile floors work well. Concreted garage floors on the other hand, provide the acoustics for sound effect enjoyment. Picture object of your frustration in the reflective bubble of the wrap staring up at you. Now, crouch into a spring position, and jump!… Continue

"Hey Dad, what's your favorite part of your job?"

At dinner last night, my son hit me with a BIG question. There are always questions, especially with 10 year olds, but this was a BIG question. I work as a physical therapist in a nursing home, and spend a lot of time helping people who, because of physical and mental impairments, can't help themselves. It can be very trying, very physical, and at the end of the day exhausting. So it took me a minute to give him something positive to hang on to.

"My favorite part is making people… Continue

Hey, that's my bag! Where are you going with it?

If you’re like me, while traveling, your mind wonders with possibilities. Unable to see, I sometimes think about someone walking away with my bag or me grabbing someone else’s suitcase. Though those thoughts flash through at times, I still travel with no worries.

But, on this last trip, that very thing happened. The plane landed, and armed with patience and chatting our time away, my friend and I sat in our seats waiting for other passengers to disembark. Suddenly, my friend calls… Continue

AWESOME Essay "NOT Reading Lolita in Charlottesville"

ESSAY- Book time: Not Reading Lolita in Charlottesville

by RANDY SALZMAN, published March 20, 2008

Young and old, black and white, 29 adults stare aimlessly in Charlottesville's juvenile court waiting room. Two infants sleep in parent's laps, and two toddlers suck their thumbs.

I put down my book-- Reading Lolita in Tehran-- and walk across to the courtroom. In front, the harried… Continue
