I made a bestsellers list!

I'm so excited. A friend of mine called me from Ohio to tell me that my books, Only True Love Waits and Divorcing the Devil, are on the Top 25 Black Christian Small-Independent Publishers Bestsellers List (Fiction). I was even more delighted when I saw Scent of an Angel on the list, too! The author, Darn Oldham, is signed to my publishing company, Nevaeh Publishing. Yippee! Here's the link, http://www.blackchristiannews.com/bcbdbestseller.html, but I also pasted the list below.

Get gorgeous, get younger, and get that soft skin looking radiant...

What a promise, huh?? To accomplish the above, there's always a trick, a secret, a specific step to be first taken:

"The best time to apply skin care products is when you are fresh out of a warm shower or bath. Not only is your skin clean, but it is also thoroughly moist and will better absorb anything you apply to it."

Haven’t you read that on instructions to just about any cream, lotion, and skin softener? If you’re like me, I’m going to follow that instruction in order… Continue

What happens when the customer sets the price?

They pick the lowest price right?

Wrong!

As an experiment (and a way to get some press:-) I set up a page for the ebook edition of my new book Stop Living Paycheck to Paycheck - Learn how you can create immediate income now, with 6 different pricing options, ranging from $9.97 down to $2.00. It's a name your price product.

I'VE BEEN AWAY FOR TOO LONG

Hi! - I've been away for quite a few months both because of personal issues and because my old PC died, and I had to buy a new laptop and get it running. I've uploaded the cover of a chapbook published in Feb.2008 by Pudding House Publications. Thanks, if you're interested. Ted

A Sequel is Born!

'A Study in Red- The Secret Journal of Jack the Ripper' is apparently selling rather well. I received an e-mail to this effect from my publisher last weeek, and when I told him I was intending to write a sequel, he immediately replied with an acceptance of the manuscript of the new novel for publication, even though it is as yet unwritten. What a wonderful thing to happen! I'm very flattered that the publisher thinks enough of my work to make me the… Continue

Finding People

Having a review site is much more challenging than first anticipated.

The need and desire for authors to have their books showcased and talked about

is a living, breathing thing.

Reviews are sought with an encompassing passion and earnestness yet is tempered with

worry and wonder.

Will the review be good or indifferent and is the format unique and complimentary or cookie-cutter and mired in synopsis?

There are review sites… Continue
