Do You Ask Too Much of Yourself?

I was speaking with my fiancé, Eric, on the phone yesterday and telling him about the progress I was making toward creating our

Christmas feast. I like to create a bunch of appetizers to snack on all day,

rather than cooking one big meal, and try to make those the week before the

holiday so I don't kill myself cooking the day or two before our celebration. I

told Eric that I hadn't done much that…

KEY LIME SQUEEZE to be Published by Enspiren Press

Thanks to the good people at Enspiren Press, my second novel, KEY LIME SQUEEZE will be published in this coming year. I am in the process of editing and revising the manuscrpit, which may take a bit, but I am excited to be a part of this small but growing company. I am also still looking for help in terms of reviews of the work, if anyone might be interested.

A Book Review by Martha Jette for Bee Balms & Burgundy

The Author's Note at the beginning of this novella left me wondering.

"To every woman who has fought the battle, and the subsequent self-doubt and fear, win or lose.... I offer my respect." Nelson

I thought perhaps that Nelson Pahl referred to the timeless battle women face when it comes to love - from finding the right partner, to attempting to build a relationship with a man that would last a lifetime. Boy, was I wrong!

As the story of 30-something… Continue

New Book Cover is Here

It's been a long time coming, but Enchantment's Embrace went to the print department yesterday! This is my new book cover for it. I started this awhile ago after I finished Visions of Enchantment, and decided there needed to be a sequel. Then, after writing book two, I knew it still couldn't end, so The Enchantment Series will be a four book series. I started book three on paper, and book four in my head. Enchantment's Embrace should be out early 2008, although I don't… Continue

A Free Web Ranking SEO Resource for Authors

What's SEO? If you have to ask, that's okay. It stands for "Search Engine Optimimazation" and it basically means that you try to find all the ways to make your web page friendly and desired by the search engines so that people can easily find you.

There are many, many ways people will try to tell you they; have all the answers to get your page up to #1 or #2 in Google. Some of these materials you will pay for will help your search engine ranking incrase (but don't count on #1!)…

I love the internet!

I've mentioned previously on Sadie's Storylines about my next novel, Descendants of Salem. I've also mentioned that I am located in the heart of the bible belt. I'm in a small podunk town in the heart of a bible belt whose library depends on donations for it to survive.

I went to my podunk little town's library for research on the Salem Witch Trials. Would you like to know what I found?

2 books.

One of those books… Continue

Donating books - Charities are a great option!

The end of the year is coming. If you're looking to move some of those books out of your bedroom office, or just want to spread some holiday cheer, donating some books to charities is a wonderful option.

You can also offer them at a discount to charities all year round, by asking your current readers to help cover some of the wholesale costs of the book itself.

Offer additional copies of your book to a local charity at a discounted price.

For example, in the back of…
