Canadian Book Prices Enrage Customers

In the book world, Canadian prices have always been absurdly high, compared with US prices. It's always been a common complaint, and believe me, as an author who puts herself out into the frontlines by doing book signings in bookstores, it isn't always easy to listen to customers complain, berate staff or even me, or walk out angry.

My Update!

Wow, its been a while since I have said anything on here. Sorry about the long silence lol. I've been working on a couple new stories. The first one turned out wrong so I am taking a break from that story while I write a new one. Both stories are romance with an added touch to the genre. With the rewrite, the first will just be romance while the second one will be Dark Fantasy Romance. I am now seeking beta readers and have 2 looking at the second story now so hopefully, it will be improved…

I would never want to be a veteran...

Because that would mean I’d no longer be a soldier. Though they don’t accept blind people in the armed forces, I plan to insist. Blind people actually make good soldiers because in this war, the enemy cannot be seen. He’s not in far away lands, but close enough to hear our whisper.

The enemy of the soul is alive and well making his plans to defeat us, devour us, and destroy.

His…

Can you be happy and miserable at the same time?

Isn't that a great question? What if your health causes you tremendous pain and hardship? What if you lose all or some of your physical possessions as a result of economic downturn or other circumstances beyond your control? What if you've been abused or betrayed? You get the idea. Those are certainly miserable circumstances that are unfortunately common to us all.
At the end of each chapter in our emotional recovery workbook for Christians, we have a closing prayer that goes…

Happy Veterans Day - Living Black History

Happy Veterans Day Family,

(Contact Information At Bottom Of Page)

As a veteran, I encourage each, and ever one of you, to take a minute to recognize, and remember the members of your "OWN" family that have served this great country.

Even though, we find ourselves once again trapped in an unpopular war, and many of us want to reject the current media hype to Support Our Troops; like you can't disagree with the war in Iraq and still support the selfless efforts of our sons…

Treasured Moments Photo album

Bill and I met in the summer of 1962, while I was on summer vacation at my grandparent’s home in Florida. I was 12 and he was 16. He was the boy next door. I fell in love at first sight. I felt like I was in heaven that summer we met. He was a romantic, and even carved our initials in the bark…
