I was reading a post on another network about blogging when nobody ever reads it. I guess my thought on that is at least I get some things off my chest. Yes, it takes time away from promoting and writing the next book, but maybe, just maybe, someone will read my thoughts and respond...in a kind way. Occasionally I learn something from my own blogs. LOL. Go figure!
Well, today I'm throwing out a question that I hope will be seen and answered. I…

Being a police officer is a tough and dangerous job. I respect and applaud their tireless efforts to keep us safe. I mourn with them when an officer is killed in the line of duty. I thank them for the freedoms we sometimes take for granted in a civilized society. I am so inspired that they enjoyed my book.

I recently signed a book contract with Echelon Press Publishing. My legal drama,
The Advocate, will be released late this summer or early fall.
Since I now have a book contract for
The Advocate, I was told I should start blogging. So this is my first attempt at this incredible new communication system. This stuff still boggles, or should I say "bloggles," my mind. But then I'm still amazed every time I fly, that those gigantic metal birds can stay up in the sky. I'm…

"This victory alone is not the change we seek - it is only the chance for us to make that change."
–– From Barack Obama's acceptance speech.
Obama's campaign ran on the platform of
change. His first term ends in
2012, the prophetic end of the ancient Mayan calendar. Talk about
change! December 21, 2012 marks the end of an
"Age" or
"Sun" as they referred to it in their culture. It also marks the beginning of a new
Age… Continue

Help???
Trina L.C. Sonnenberg
Good morning Dear Reader!
I have finished the first re-write of my novel! I am so excited about this project! It seems as if this has just written itself. It required 30 years of research; and I did spend years making excuses for not writing it, but once I started, I couldn't stop. I'm still working on the…

The afternoon was sultry; a hot wind was chasing a yacht across the golden waves of the sunset bay. A furtive figure, dressed in black despite the heat, slipped from the shadows cast by the stairwell. Large well manicured hands fumbled with a lock-pick at the door to apartment number 9. There came a loud click and the figure felt his breath catch as the door swung open silently.
Replacing the lock-pick he drew out a .357 Magnum revolver. Quietly, he manoeuvred through the apartment.…

Ever read a novel and wonder how the heck the author came up with the idea in the first place? Sometimes the story behind the story is as insightful and interesting as the story itself. This is the story of how my novel, The Ezekiel Code, came to be one of the most unique of it's kind.

Fiction authors are often asked, “How do you come up with your novel plots? Where do you find those ideas?” As a Canadian suspense author, I am often asked these questions, and my answers will usually include something about letting ideas percolate and ferment.
I know―it sounds like I’m brewing coffee and making homemade wine, but in reality I’m creating what I hope will be a fast-paced suspense novel that will be enjoyed by readers worldwide. I think that percolating a novel plot is…
