Somehow, I keep getting myself into these Forest Gump, Box of Chocolates experiences. It's so crazy!
One day, me and my college buds, Scott, English Bobby and I can’t remember who else, went into the club called THE WORLD in Alphabet City, like on 1st Street, I think. Scott was somewhere wooing the chicks, as usual. Me and English Bobby took a stroll upstairs looking for more chicks, and then English Bobby says, “Ace, that’s Madonna!” I’m like, “Nuh-uh, where?”
He…

I'd never done a trailer before and, let me tell you, creating it was both frustrating and fun. I can laugh now when I think about how many times my…

I'd been avoiding a certain little hatchback for several days, each time leaving just as they arrived, or arriving as they pulled away down the street. I knew from voice messages left on my phone that this person needed to see me, however I didn't want to see them. But today hadn't been so lucky. . . The package had been delivered, signed for, and I was left standing in my little basement suite kitchen staring at papers suing me for divorce and custody of my two small children!…

Crystal Linn – A Brief Introduction
Writing is something I have always done. When I was eight years old I wrote my first poem. When I was nine, I wrote my first short story. Then at the age of ten I began keeping a journal. Unlike my mother, I had no lofty writing goals. Writing was simply a part of my life. It was both personal and…

I wake up, at no particular set time, and make my way to the bathroom for the morning (or maybe early afternoon) duties.
I look in the mirror, steamed over from a skin-reddening hot shower. Like any of us, I sometimes ask, "Do I like what I see?"
"Sure." The answer is usually, "Sure, I'm fine with that." Most of the time, the thoughts do not travel much beyond that point.
Today, they did. Today, the wet smear of my handprint revealed a face I did not recognize in that dubious…
