As an eleven year-old, a precocious, bright, and book reading eleven year old, I had no idea of the scarification ahead of me in life. Thank God or the creater whomever that may be!

This book is not just an autobiography, this is…

Vampire Trivia!

In Ancient Rome there used to be a vampire called a Strix; a vampire-witch who would be able to mingle with humans during the day and walk in the sunlight without any ill effects. But when night fell she would transform herself into an owl or a crow and search for new victims. Her preferred targets were children, who would have the sweetest blood, but she wouldn't kill them outright. Instead she would scratch their chests and drink from the open wounds, returning night after night to feed on…

Authors Tour the World with Virtual Book Tours by Cheryl Kaye Tardif

Over the years, authors who wanted to promote their books directly to the public had one main option; you had to physically travel across the country conducting book signings and readings in various bookstores and praying that people would show up. This meant spending money on flights, hotels, transportation and meals. This traditional type of book tour is expensive and very few publishing companies are willing to pay for them. But now, authors have a new method of ‘touring…

Hi Authors:

I recently wrote a book about my son's baseball career. He played with the Boston Red Sox and the Philadelphia Phillies during his playing days. He was fifthteen years in Pro baseball. The book is called Tossing Heat: The Ken Ryan Story. It was released last month. It's the story abut a seventeen-year-old -kid who, right after graduating from high school, signs a contract with the Boston Red Sox. It recounts his days of turmoil while in the minors and his rise up to the…

Looking For An Agent!

Just sending out query letters to agents for my children's book series--This is my first time to send it out to agents. It's a great series that is not only fun, but educational and I can't wait to see it in print! I am at a standstill on my second book in the Clear Creek series. Even though the book isn't based on the life of my grandparents there are some details of their lives that I would like to include--one being my grandfather's military service. So, I am waiting to see if he can give me… Continue

Was your Barnes and Noble Book Signing a successd?

After my book was published the most exciting thing that happened to me was being invited by Barnes and Noble to participate in a book signing, along with nine other authors. The day of the event I was in heaven. I was having a book signing at Barnes and Noble--my all time favorite bookstore--me the author. In addition, my book would be on the bookshelf.

As you can see, it does not take much to excite me. I have to say, I had a successful book signing but only after I did my own…
