"Beware the Winds of Doctrine" by Author Henry Miranda is a call to stand fast upon the Holy Word of God, the Bible. As many preach the Gospel, we as Christians are called to be diligent students of the Word of God. By doing this we are taking hold of the truth, which enables us to have the knowledge not to be deceived. Many false teachers and preachers evangelize a Gospel that has turned away from the true Word of God. Henry Miranda in his book exhorts the born again Christian to study diligently the Word of God in this hour to know the truth and to not be led away by false doctrines.

As winds blow from one place to another, so the author writes that preachers have turned from the Word of God to become people pleasers. Many preach not the true Word of God, but preach what people want to hear. We as Christians are called to live a godly, holy life of repentance, turning away from sin and the lure of the world. Knowing your Bible will not only keep you from being deceived by false doctrines, but will also lead the reader on a path to living a life in Christ.

False religion is a tool of man and Satan that can keep one bound in false doctrine. therefore, we must know the Gospel of Jesus Christ only and daily live out the Gospel in our own lives as followers of Christ.

The author backs up his work by many scripture references. This book is suggested to be very helpful for the new Christian. Henry Miranda urges others to study the entire Bible in context and to read fully the entire gospel of Jesus Christ. We are to test the teachings we hear, to make sure they line up according to scripture. Jesus warned that there would be many false teachers and false prophets and warned us to be aware of wolves in sheep's clothing. The author is sounding the call to all Christians to study according to the Bible and not to believe everything that is preached from the pulpit.

Henry Miranda is a Bible teacher, Author, Writer and Evangelist. He lives in Southern California and has four daughters. He has written five books to include:

Eternal Life, Fellowship with God: Bright Lights on the Path Leading to Jesus, You've Been Warned, The Path to Eternal Life and his current book, Beware the Winds of Doctrine. You can learn more about Henry Miranda and his books by visiting Author Henry Miranda.

Title: Blessings of Knighthood

"Blessings of Knighthood" by Author Brian Daniel Starr is an intricate and extensive educational book that divulges the secrets of the Christian/Judea religion that are not visible to the average Christian, who without a study of genealogy and knighthood, would have no knowledge of the subject. As the author states, "All the secrets of the known religion are no doubt in the Vatican and are known to different families and orders." This book will uncover the subject of Knighthood, Saints, genealogy of the ancient Israelite Priests and biblical figures while giving a comprehensive look at the nine most worthy warriors of times past from three eras: the Christian era, the Hebrew (Biblical) era and from three other cultures-Roman, Greek and Macedonian. This unique work is a valuable and highly informative read if one views history and genealogy, knighthood and sainthood in the right light, holding to the perception that these subjects play a very important part in our world, our history and our religions.

With careful observation and exhaustive research that is available in this modern day and would not be obtainable in the past as the author states, Brian Daniel Starr has left a legacy of genealogy going back to the mysteries of the Priest and the Knight, discussing the Crucifixion of the Lord, giving an overview of the branches of Jerusalem and the first century to the Five Generation Genesis of God to include the Davidic, Aaronic Levitical, the Gamalas and the Arimethia lineages. The author continues his research to traverse this wide span of knowledge into charts and graphs, giving the reader a visual to the diverse landscape of genealogy. The author also discusses the descendants of Mary, the daughters of Mary, the sons of Mary and gives a rather extensive roll call of the all the famous Saints of Old as named in the Bible such as Mary, Joseph and James.

Concisely, the book reveals the lineage of the High Priests of Israel to include the lives from Ahab and Jehokim and follows with the ancient lineage of biblical figures such as Sarah, Abraham and Solomon's marriage to the Queen of Egypt. This research also takes a look at some from the time of King David until the time of war of the Jews with Rome discussing how the Levitical line of Levi, the Israelite's descendants, married into the house of David. The author systematically weaves in lineage from the Israelite Levi and continues by discussing the Order of Knighthood. Additional Saints from early Christianity are also included, as well as the lineage in some Greek mythology and ancient figures such as Alexander the Great, Julius Caesar, and Sir Hector.

The author includes the apostle guardianship, the Law of the Lord, Law in the Knight and crimes and the prevention of them to include the blending of the religions Hebrew, Greek and Roman. This work is an exceptional research project that took many, many hours to complete. This read is a highly educational, thought provoking work, challenging the reader to unlock and know the secrets of histories past genealogy and lineage of the Christian/Judea religion.

"A Lump of Clay" by Dr. Bobby Holliday is a truly enchanting tale of a little lump of clay that was created for a very special purpose. Inspired by her memory of an "imperfect, but much loved…" piece of pottery that she created at the pottery wheel during her high school years, Author Dr. Bobby Holliday, has created an unforgettable children's story that will delight and teach young children that they are valuable and created for a very special purpose. This book triumphantly encourages children, and adults alike, that even though life is full of trials and tribulations, and even when sometimes life does not go as planned, God does have a purpose, a very special purpose for them because He loves them.

With beautiful illustrations done by Rebecca Price, accompanied with an audio CD done by the author who was the voice of the Lioness played by Angelina Jolie in Kung Fu Panda 1 and 2 and talented artists such as Rodger Bumpass, the voice of Squidward in SpongeBob SquarePants, this colorful, full-sized book with classic illustrations, will keep little readers fully engaged while teaching many Christian "Life-Lessons."

Perfect for a bedtime story, this wonderful children's fiction book is set in Old Jerusalem, in the, "Old City of King David." Dr. Holliday weaves in historical biblical figures in this creative tale of a little lump of clay that thought he was going to be the greatest, most beautiful and prestigious creation ever to be molded by the old famous potter, "Manasseh." Little did the lump of clay know that he was created for an even more spectacular and special purpose, more magnificent than he could have ever imagined or asked to have had the humble privilege of participating in.

Truly a masterpiece that you and your child will cherish together again and again! This endearing tale is destined to become a classic that will inspire, encourage and open communication with your child about Christian virtues and morals while showing your child that they are valuable and very special to God. Hello, greetings from Maracaibo, Venezuela, my name is Fernando Sobenes, I am a new authot and I want to introduce yoy my novel; "The Evil Visitor" this is the resume.

The story begins in northern Kuwait in 1991 during the Persian Gulf War.  Peter Donovan, lieutenant in the US Army, commanding a group of soldiers; walks into an ambush in the Iraqi desert and as a result a massacre occurs.  There he finds an amulet that he puts in his pocket without knowing that it contains a hidden power; and because of it, has his first terrifying encounter in a grave underneath the sands of the desert with an evil being that takes him to death's door.

Several years pass after these events and Peter, after leaving the Army, moves to a place in the United States where he settles down, gets married and begins a family.  It's beautiful place where people live happily far from the stress of the big city.  Others that live there also enjoy the pleasant climate, tranquility and beauty of the place with its lake and wonderful forest.

Peter serves as the town sheriff and gets together on the weekends with some other families.  Their lives continue with peace and happiness until the day when they play with the Ouija Board, using the amulet that Peter brought from the Iraqi desert.  They unintentionally open the door for evil to enter their lives; destroying them, sowing fear and death.  Paranormal phenomena, blood-curdling demon possessions and tragic deaths create a climate of suspense and terror in this work.

This novel deals with the matter of the fight between good and evil.  One of the protagonists, Father Josh Carter, fights again his principles and everything he learned in seminary when he realizes that the Church contradicts itself and doesn't comply with its own precepts.  He begins to doubt his faith and his religious superiors and proves to his dismay that he has been deceived, which tears him apart emotionally.

The work also deals with the theme of exorcism and the vision that the Church has towards it, and the manipulation that occurs in these situations.  Problems of a mental nature are conveniently used as methods of propaganda and to control the faithful.  This novel immediately grabs the read and is geared towards adult readers, people who enjoy emotions that are strong and that make them identify with the characters, their lives, fears, loves, and sufferings.  It is a lively, emotional novel, full of suspense

My novel will be available in electronic format: Epub, PDF (lulu.com) and .prc for Kindle (Amazon) starting December 12, 2011. It is now published in Spanish in the above sites.

You can read the Prologue and the first two  chapters in my blog:

My Sons Are Jewish The Jewish Roots of the Christian Faith
By Author Paula Clayman
ISBN# 978-0-7684-3906-9
Date Reviewed: October 12, 2011

My Sons Are Jewish - The Jewish Roots of the Christian Faith written by Paula Clayman is one of the most comprehensive books on the subject. My Sons Are Jewish is a must-read for every Christian practicing the Judeo-Christian faith. Enlightening, unique and enriching this book will not only lay the foundation for the Christian faith, but gives insight and thorough understanding of the Jewish people and their prominence in history. With this book you will find an increased faith in God, a deeper appreciation for God and His love for the Jewish people. A profound appreciation for His chosen people is also keenly acquired through this informative book.

Author Paula Clayman invites the reader on a journey to discover, not only the Jewish roots of the Christian faith and answers the question of "Who is a Jew", but additionally, she delivers a noteworthy book by giving the reader God's plan of salvation to humanity through the Jewish people. Without the knowledge of the love of God towards the Jewish people and knowledge of the covenant given to Abraham and how all people of the world be blessed through that promise, recognition of who the Jewish people are would be severely lacking. Distinctive and impressive, this book is an absorbing and fascinating easy-read that gives a comprehensive history of the Jewish heritage and lineage. Without this heritage and lineage of the Jewish people, it would be easy to miss the love, dedication and reason to pray for Israel and why God's chosen people are at the very core of Christianity.

Rich with scripture and history, the author masterfully weaves the divine thread that connects Christian believers and Jews alike to the Messiah thereby establishing the Jewish lineage and heritage. The book begins first with a detailed biblical overview of God's plan of salvation to humanity through Adam. However, God's plan of salvation did not stop with the fall of Adam in the garden, but continued through to Noah, then through Abraham and on to Judah and then ultimately through David and the Davidic throne of David.

This book is paramount in understanding the role that the Jewish people play in God's plan of salvation. The author shares her vast knowledge of the subject of the Jewish lineage through many years of studying the scriptures, The Torah and many other books. She shares openly with the readers that her husband and sons are also Jewish which led her on this journey to discover their Jewish roots and hers as well, being a Christian.

This book is also a very powerful scriptural teaching that gives biblical insight into the truth of God's word, His love of His chosen people and how all people of the world are blessed through that Promise given to Abraham. A highly recommended must-read book for every Christian or Jewish person seeking a deeper relationship and walk with God.

Some of you probably know I’ve been on a long time novel project called MAYAN CALENDAR GIRLS, part of team of writers called “Team 2012”. It was an online serial for a year, very popular; then a much-awarded, highly innovative, commercially useless ebook: now it’s a paperback, and an official Kindle eBook.
I’m pretty thrilled about this: it’s the wildest, coolest book I’ve been on yet. Unique, quirky, adventurous, romantic, funny…and plenty of cheesecake. But also because it’s the first chance I’ve had to offer my many fans, adorers, and camp-followers around here a chance to read my stuff inexpensively. Or, better yet, expensively—buy several of the paperbacks or you won’t be able to live with yourselves.

The cover image by Robin Crandall says it all: ancient schemata meet contemporary sexy, kicky cheesecake Calendar Girls. It’s a romp, something to delight fans of Tom Robbins, Christopher Moore, Robert Anton Wilson, comics from the innocent days of Playboy and Penthouse (Annie Fanny and Wicked Wanda would fit right in with our Girls)…and, of course the golden age of girly calendar art and logos on flying fortresses.

It’s got stoned crystal skulls, dolphin love, Obama’s talk show, industrial spies hooking up, dancing—both fire and pole) and quite a bit of action adventure, romance, and all that archaeology stuff. The website makes it pretty clear what you’re dealing with, and so far the entire book is still online to be read.
http://mayancalendargirls.com
If nothing else, check out the artwork and Mayan myth videos.

The books are available at all online stores including amazon.com, on order from book stores in most civilized civilizations, and gettable from theKindle store

Let me know what you think.
Anybody who posts a good review on amazon.com, show me and I’ll send you a copy of the amazing ebook (only works on Windows, sorry to say. But I’ll do you right with some other nifty freebie)

Thanks for your attention. Hope you like Mayan Calendar Girls.

When I first had my book published in April I submitted it unto the Lord and placed it in His hands to get into the hands of those in whom my life testimony may help enocourage. SInce April very few have sold other than to close friends and those I purchased and gave away. I can only assume this is God's will so I am going to simply stop promotion efforts for sales and simply make it a free read to those who don't mind reading online. I also added a Kindle version that can be downloaded from the following website. http://www.springsofpraise.com/ReflectionsMyPersonalJourney.html I consider the money it cost me for publication was the Lord's money anyway. So I pray you enjoy this free read and if my life's testimony helps even one person then it will have been worth every second I invested in this project. 4HisGlory, Jerry Pitts

Don’t Forget Daddy by Theresa Franklin is a delightful book to read to any young child experiencing change in the family dynamics whether it is through divorce, remarriage or the death of a parent, especially in respect to loss of a father.

Author Theresa Franklin, writes with heartfelt compassion by addressing these delicate subjects in a creative way that will help identify any feelings that a child may be holding on to in their emotions. By opening up the lines of communication, this book will allow a child going through similar circumstances to be able to share their feelings. This book offers wonderful solutions to any young child on how to cope with the change in the family.

The short story opens with Ashley, a young child, sitting and conversing with a man who has become mommy’s friend. She likes him, but does not know how to feel about him because she doesn’t want to forget her daddy. With colorful illustrations and an easy to read dialogue your child will be able to understand this book as Ashley accepts her new daddy, and her new life with wonderful excitement. We find out through the book that change is okay and can be a good thing for all the parties involved.

With the divorce rate being close to 50 percent these days, many young children have to adapt to the loss of a parent and/or a new stepparent. Change is not easy, especially when you don’t understand why it is happening. To a child this can be devastating and as parents it is imperative that these issues are addressed along with any feelings a child might have towards the change in the family dynamics. This book will help you do just that in a loving and compassionate way.

Don’t forget Daddy is also a recommended book for parents or physiologists that want to open the dialogue between parent and child. This book can be used as a tool for parents or professionals to address a child’s feelings whatever they may be towards the change in the family dynamics. It would be a perfect book for the mother who is remarrying with young children. I read it to my 6 year old daughter and all she could say was, “Again, again!” She loved it and I look forward to more books from this talented author that address issues with children and their feelings!
