St. Paddy's Day is Almost Here!

With St. Patrick’s Day just around the corner, you can be sure I’m excited and already getting ready for my favorite day of the year! Big time! Let me tell you how. I just got a call from my daughter-in-law. She and my son are miserably sick (probably the yucky bug that’s on the prowl).

"Do you think we can come over so you can watch the baby?"

Grumbling about Gambling

I never considered myself a gambler. I've never played cards for money, never placed a bet, never bought a lottery ticket (except to support some school project, considering the money spent as a donation). So, what do I do? You expose yourself little by little with words.

I'm not talking about sex scenes, either. Even without conscious effort, a writer's unique take on the world comes out in our stories. There is no hiding. It'll happen even if you try not to let it.
