I highly recommend Penny C. Sansevieri's book "Red Hot Internet Publicity" which is full of marketing tips. The only thing it seems to lack is reference to on line free newspaper ads which can be placed in papers around the country.
I'm continuing to record the audio version of "Chilly-CHilly BANG! or How We Freeelanced Through Europe's Coldest Winter ina VW with a Kid." for Oregon Publ.ic Broadcasting. It will be broadcast for the blind, a service I suggest all authors with suitable voices do. It's an important public service,. Check on your state library for the blind.

Nadia, thanks for the welcome. It will probably take me a while to find my way around here but I can use all the help I can find in promoting my new book. I'm glad to have found this site.
Joe
Thank you for the welcome, Nadia. I have no experience networking, so I have no idea what I have been missing. Lots of reading to do on the site. Looks great.
Thanks for the information and for keeping me up to date on promotion and marketing endeavours. I've a sixth work of fiction due for publication in early September. Although my publisher does work on my behalf, I love to do guerilla marketing. By the way - hi to all you dedicated writers! Please keep in touch. www.patmestern.com www.mestern.net
Well, I think it would be great to collaborate in the great effort to write the things that mean so much to us. You seem very successful, and I applaud you! Blessings and write soon!
The site is being worked on right now. My husband is doing the work and he can't work on it full time. After taxes things are sure to move faster.Sorry about that, Nadia.
I have recently signed a publishing contract for my second novel - FOR LOVE OF TEDDY. It looks as though it will be released within the next two months or so. I'm a bit anxious about the marketing and promotion part of it but I'm psyching myself up for the task. Any words of support will be very greatly appreciated. I will also welcome all members as my friends.
That is quite interesting. I am currently publishing an economical version of my book "Africans and African Americans Divided" and it should be out soon.
My book is for those who share my concern about the Middle East conflict and peacemaking, and are bold enough to look at extraordinary solutions. The book is entitled "Quo Vadis, Israel?". Quo vadis means, Where are you going? and goes back to a Nobel prize winning book over 100 years ago. People in many languages have used the two words to question an uncertain future. I am questioning Israel's future, since I am convinced that peace will never occur and also, that for demographic reasons, in 2 or 3 generations, the Israeli Jews are going to be a minority in their own land. Somebody has said, if that comes about, Israel "is finished". My book explores the possibility (maybe faint possibility) of transplanting Israel to a stretch of land by the Baltic Sea by buying it from Russia. This is not as impossible as it sounds and the book tells you the reasons why. I researched it and found it would be quite feasible, affordable and immensely beneficial for all concerned. Several reviewers have found, the idea is not as absurd as it sounds. I would love to hear your comments about it. Perhaps you should look it up on amazon.com and read the summary and reviews first, or go to my website http://outskirtspress.com/quovadisisrael.
Hi Nadia, You are making me feel guilty (for not writing these days) as I have been sooooo busy with 'stuff'.....right now preparing for my six week trip to Europe and N.Africa...leave soon. I hope two weeks on the cruise over there will inspire me to put pen to paper once more...no shortage of ideas - just can't sit still for five minutes. Ciao C.
Hi Nadia,
I've been so busy with trying to complete my new book Please, God, Not Two. Hopefully, it will be done by this year. Once it is, I'll have time to breathe again and hit different sites.

Hi Nadia,
You have a beautiful site. I've been so busy working on my second memoir, Please, God, Not Two. It's about my life living with and losing a husband and daughter from alcoholism.
I can't wait to finish and get time to answer chat room emails and messages. There seems to be no spare time.
